It was fine. We took day trips, so don't have much to say about the pool or other amenities. The location was good for what we wanted to do on the Kona coast. Overall, I would say the room was okay, but is showing its age and in need of some upgrades. There was a big crack in the bathroom counter that had been patched with putty, and all of the fixtures are looking old. Kitchen was fine, though.

Kona Coast Resort was everything we hoped for and more! The grounds are beautiful, filled with palm trees and ocean views. Our villa was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped — the perfect mix of comfort and island charm. We enjoyed relaxing by the pools, grilling dinner at the BBQ area, and sipping coffee on the lanai each morning. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is quiet yet close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. We left feeling completely relaxed and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this resort!

It had great service. When asked for some coffee, they were really prompt. The concierge we talked with, gave her number to us and responded in a timely manner when asked about different activities to do.

The room was really nice. The only issue we ran into was the person at the actvities desk was late so we didn't get our wristbands the first day. And when we did, he was so busy trying to sell us on "joining" the property he forgot to activate them. As we were leaving the next day it wasn't worth stopping there again

The first day I was there an animal broke into my room and took human bite sizes out of my food and that was in a first floor level place. They refunded for the food. They moved me to a different spot and there was tons of cockroaches in the kitchen. They sprayed the unit .. at 10pm… they came back. Our key cards had to be reprogrammed 4-5 times. They ended up giving me more keys the 5th time and by the end of my week only one key worked out of 6 or 7… really nice and accommodating staff I’m assuming because they are used to it and they kill you with kindness.

Our villa room was very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the huge balcony and eating our meals. The kitchen and living area were also large and well appointed. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around and enjoying stunning sunsets. We liked the outdoor restaurant next to the pool and the prices were reasonable. The only thing we didn't like was the pressure upon check in to attend a 90 minute high-pressure timeshare presentation. We declined.
