The good: Easy access to propery. Villas had all that we need. The lawns were very well taken care of. Staff were helpful. They provided extra blankets as soon as we requested. The bad: Pillows were terrible, they sink so bad they disapear from under your head! The carpet had a very foul odor. The air conditioner stayed very cold, did not propery work there was no way to turn the temperature down.

This was a full condo. It was spacious and comfortable. No daily housekeeping and no beach access. Just be aware—this property is part of a Wyndham timeshare and the activities desk at check-in will press you to sign up for a timeshare presentation.

Spacious, comfy, and convenient.

So amazing. Location was great. The property has multiple pools and hot tubs and tennis courts, volleyball courts, playground, a restaurant, a place you can rent beach gear, and more. The apartment had a large l, full sized appliance, furnished kitchen with a blender, coffee maker, and washer and dryer. Dining table, nice living area, large balcony. One room had two full beds. A common bath. The primary bedroom had a king bed with different pillow options and a large en suite with a two person deep tub and large walk-in shower. There’s a good size closet and vanity area also. Both bedrooms have large TVs.

overall property was fine. Decor dated, but clean. Appreciated full kitchen. Downside; cable TV in bedroom did not work and tub/shower drain in the bedroom suite was clogged and would not drain. Necessitated using the other bathroom which had no counter - a bit inconvienent. Maintenance person was pressure washing walkway outside our front door at 0900 (3rd floor of building) and large amount of water leaked under door into the suite. Pressure washing went on for at least 2 hours, and he left a dirty towel hanging on railing outside our front door.

Not sound proof so heard all the stomping on floor above. Hard to sleep due to that. Condos are old and in need of updating. Dead cockroach in one cabinet.Although Hotels.com shows ocean view, most rooms do not have so very misleading. Pool and bar/restaurant ok. Would not stay here again.

The room is spacious and has a kitchen. The service staff are very enthusiastic and solve problems promptly. We had a very comfortable stay. It's within walking distance to the seaside, a great place to watch the sunset.

No 2bdrm units available

We love Kona Coast resort. Have been staying there 2 to 3 times a year for about 15 years. In the past 2 years we have been unable to reserve a 2 bdrm through a travel site. Only 1 bdrm are offered. I saw why while spending time at the pool. Completely full of kids and babies. They must be saving the 2 bdrm units for the time share clients with families. Bummers because that’s where the bar is located.

We’ve stayed at Kona Coast resort several times. Beautiful property and spacious rooms. No beach but nice pools and amenities. Close to a shopping center with several restaurants and a grocery store - easy walk. Just a few miles to beaches and downtown Kona. recommend!

This property was awesome. There are pools, shuffle boards, a volleyball court and tennis courts. The property is very large and great for walking at night. There is no beach access from here, but you can get to a public beach for a short walk.

The resort was not right on the ocean but I felt I got good value for what I paid. “Quiet pool”(just outside my room)was anything but quiet in the early evening Hot tub near quiet pool always too foamy. I have a hot tub at home-need to change water more often or use anti foam”

The property was immaculate and the groundskeeping well manicured and clean every day. Lots to do around the property with the pool and sporting equipment for the various court sports. The one bedroom condo was very roomy, particularly with two bathrooms. All linens were top grade! The older ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen could have been cleaned better. There was an issue with insects in the kitchen at night, however, management was very responsive when called to assist with the problem.
