Great staff. Room very nice but the walls very thin and could hear everything next door. Great location.

This place is a nightmare! It is worse than staying in the cheapest motel you can find in a third world country. Cats are everywhere! The only seating was a small rattan loveseat located adjacent to a very old, very loud air conditioner. It literally would blow into your face. Since the patio door had no screen, opening it was not an option unless we wanted to eaten by mosquitos or welcome in the cats (my husband is allergic) . The bedroom was literally a box spring and hard mattress in a room that barely had enough space to walk around it. That’s it: no nightstand, no bedside light, no place for luggage or belongings, not one surface on which to place anything. There was a closet but it wasn’t big enough for an open suitcase and the few small drawers were in a dresser holding a TV in the living room. We had to leave our open suitcases on the hallway floor for access. I had to place my water bottle, chapstick, tissues, etc on the floor next to the bed. The paint was rippling on the ceiling (likely from mold underneath that had been painted over). The furniture throughout was uncomfortable junk. The AC unit could not cool the bedroom, even after running on high for hours. At 4 am, I called the “24 hour front desk staff” but they don’t answer the phone, so I had to dress and walk down. We gave the manager the courtesy of complaining privately and an opportunity to make things right but he smugly told us our booking was not refundable. We ate the $1000, and left.

Aloha, We're sorry to hear that your experience was not of the quality you expected here at Paradise Bay Resort. To be clear, our cats on property do not come in the room or the deck area as they stay contained to the parking lot. At no time will they enter a guests room. Also, mosquito's are common here in Hawaii but there are safeguards to assist you should you have needed it. We understand that you did have some other issues with your room. However, our Manager did you speak with you at length and did offer you an alternative room, to which you declined. We're hopeful that you were still able to have a good time and great memories while in Hawaii. Mahalo, PBR Management

A perfect little hide away from everything. I loved the peace and quiet, I loved the rain, I loved the sunshine, I loved the sandbar, I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday getaway. It was everything my husband and I hoped for!

Paradise Bay Resort Stay

Pros: It's seclusion. Tucked away, quiet and beautiful!
Cons: The refrigerator never got cold. Couldn't leave food in it.
Location: Very secluded. Have to drive a short distance into town for restaurants and shopping.
This was our first visit to Paradise Bay Resort. While we did not know what to expect, we were more than pleasantly surprised. What a beautiful resort. Quiet and tucked away. You'd never know it was there! The staff and amenities were all incredible. We can not wait for our next trip to Oahu. Paradise Bay has return customers in us for a long time! Thank you for any amazing, relaxing, wonderful stay!

What a beautiful Condo studio. We sat out on the Lani and put our feet up and watched the sunset. The Lani had been built around a tree which was really neat. Our room was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend.....

Wonderful & Unique

We rented a suite with a lanai, and it was probably one of the best rooms we've ever stayed in. The view of the mountains and jungle was amazing during sunrise and sunset. Very peaceful and tranquil.

Quiet and Comfortable!

Pros: Free breakfast and activities.
Cons: Parking lot is a bit awkward.
Location: Right between North Shore and Waikiki. Polynesian Cultural Center and Luau Parasailing Lanikai Beach Snorkeling
Paradise Bay is off the beaten path and away from the crowds of Waikiki but still easily accessible to all that Oahu has to offer! Great complimentary breakfast and friendly staff made this a trip to remember. There are little extras that made this hotel stand out, like free use of snorkel gear and kayaks. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the room includes a kitchenette. It sits on a bit of a hill, so there are a lot of stairs and the driveway is a bit steep, but there are quiet little places throughout the property due to how it sits on the hill right next to a lovely little bay. This place is a truly hidden and rare gem in Oahu. Quiet, comfortable, and convenient.

We had a lovely time here. I loved that it was secluded and so close to the water. The staff were great! The Fire Knife show was amazing! I loved hearing about the Hawaiian history! I loved how uncommercial the whole place was. My family & would go back to the Parade Bay Resort.
