We very much enjoyed the view from this hotel room/suite. The design of the actual room was challenging. Doors to the closets, cabinets and microwave are mounted backwards. There is no screen door to the lanai. The AC is extremely loud (but thankfully it worked). The windows are old, and we could hear everything outside. The adjoining door was super thin, and we could hear everything our neighbors said and did. On our first night, I heard the neighbors having sex. Then I heard them arguing. Then I heard a man say, "You never let me enjoy myself." Not something I wanted to hear on my honeymoon. The posting on Expedia shows that the site is on the water and that snorkeling is available. When I asked about swimming, the receptionist told me that the nearest swimming beach is in Kailua (which is a 20 minute drive). She said that even with reef walkers the bay was too rocky and muddy for swimming. The pool had no bathroom. We had to go up two levels to our room to go to the bathroom. I was told three things by three people regarding housekeeping and towel exchanges. We only asked for housekeeping once. We were terribly disappointed. They only changed the sheets and replaced the towels. No one cleaned the floors, the shower, nor wiped down the kitchenette. So we didn't bother to request it again. The view was absolutely beautiful! The morning coffee, banana bread, and other treats were appreciated. We enjoyed the evening entertainment.

Paradise Bay Resort is Oahu’s hidden gem! It’s not the Waldorf but the rooms are nice, clean, spacious without ANY bugs. The resort is a quaint and absolutely gorgeous place to spend your vacation. The hotel staples are all there. (Read the resort’s amenities.) A nice pool and hot tub await. The resort is conveniently located in the beauty of Hawaii you want to know.❤️ You will need a car and should enjoy driving in Hawaii. Major sites Kualuoa, Kaneohe Sandbar etc. are close at hand. The resort offers kayaking and more. The views are breathtaking and all lucky guest will know they made a great decision. The resort is exclusive and quiet. Hotel’s in Oahu boast 125,000 guest per night. Elevators with 25 beach goers isn’t a vacation situation to me.😵‍💫 Last but not least, the staff cares and deliver on any need. We didn’t want to leave them behind. We thank Kris, Danny, Kevin and Kylie. Thanks to all of you for making our vacation the BEST! We will be back💙

Biggest negative:ROACHES IN THE ROOM!! ONLY positive thing:Micah who was the night check in staff. ! The property is located in the middle of a neighborhood which seemed strange. Upon entering the room, it was clear that the pictures were much nicer than the actual room. It had old motel/dorm room vibes. Utilizing outdoor patio furniture as living room furniture also seems like an odd choice. No ceiling or standing fans, only one small, old and barely functioning window AC unit in the living room. Very stuffy and uncomfortable. The shower knob seems ready to break. Switched rooms for a cost to get functioning AC, encountered more patio furniture, painted brick walls, old dirty/rusted stove top, smaller bathroom and ROACHES. Left within minutes of seeing/killing them as we didn’t want to see how many more would come crawling out. Hotel wouldn’t refund since it was booked through Expedia. Contacted Expedia who reached out to the hotel and the hotel again refused to refund my 3 night stay. I was there for only 3 hours max! Expedia should stop working with this glorified motel trying to pass itself off as a resort. Truly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and the only time that I have left a place.

This place felt like a hidden gem, we throughly enjoyed our stay. It is at a great location to venture off in many directions on this island if you have a rental car. Walk out with morning coffee and be greeted by jumping fish, yoga available on floating platform, kayak and snorkel checkout at lobby (included).

We stayed at Paradise Bay at a Mountain View room. Even though we had a Mountain View, we still had a wonderful view of the bay when we stepped out onto our balcony, so it felt like a bonus room. It’s far enough away from the city and traffic, but still only about 15 miles away from the airport. The atmosphere was peaceful and the garden surrounding the property was well taken care of. I gave a 3 for the facilities only because my husband and I kept rolling towards the middle of the bed, and our bathroom sink drained very slowly. It didn’t bother us too much as we just used the kitchen sink. If we asked for anything, the staff was very helpful and accommodating and undoubtedly they would have fixed the sink if we complained. But we just let them know on our last day. The bed was also very comfy and sheets extremely soft despite the unevenness. Our room had a kitchenette with plates, bowls, cups, utensils, pots and pans. We even got a roll of paper towels, which is really nice because a lot of places don’t provide that. There was a hot plate and toaster. So if you want to save a little money, go to the grocery store and cook breakfast for your fam and enjoy the views at the resort before you go out and explore the island. We like being away from crowds, shops and foot traffic, so this resort was perfect for us and it really gave us that sense of relaxation and peace. Mahalo to the friendly staff! We’ll definitely come back!

This was not what we expected it is in the middle of a not great neighborhood. It doesn’t look like the pictures online it needs updated. The hot tub was lukewarm and missing tiles. There is limited time to use the free kayaks. The internet in our room barely worked we could not upload a movie on to our iPads for flight home. The walls are thin and we heard our neighbors coughing and sneezing all evening. You only get cleaning services every 3 days. For the high cost resort fees there should be better service offered and we shouldn’t have to pay for parking this is not in the middle of a city with limited parking. An employee also took the prime parking spot in front of our room. The room was clean, the beds and bedding were good. It has a beautiful view of mountains and bay but we will not be returning to this resort it was just too much of a disappointment. Also you really should update your webpage it looks a lot nicer than it actually is! Also you should remove your food info with the disclaimer due to Covid we no longer offer this. It has been 4 years so why leave that in there just remove that you even use to offer dinner. There is limited restaurant options it would be nice if you did offer a little more than you do. Maybe some fresh fruit in the morning along with the banana bread (that is not that good) you have some unappealing apples why not some pineapple and papaya. The little things you could do to make it feel more resort like.
