The area is flooded with unhoused people screaming out loud and threatening others. The hotel room floor was EXTREMELY dirty, the bottom of my feet turned black after a couple steps. There was a black stain on the bath towel and a hole in the bed sheet. There was spilled popcorn in the hallway that stayed overnight and was there when I checked out (earlier than originally reserved). The receptionist was unapologetic and inconsiderate when addressed with my concerns.

Mixed feelings

I have to stop booking hotels that are half condos. My experience is that they offer less of a hotel experience. The restaurant was closed permanently. Water was scheduled to be off for an 8 hour period. Housekeeping never came to my room during the 3 days I was there.

This is one of the best hotels you're going to find for the area. It's close to the public bussing system and a matter of a couple minuets from Diemand Head and Waikiki. The suite was very quiet, came with a full kitchen including washer/dryer. Would highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

The room was great and I will definitely stay here again. Just realize that downtown Honolulu has a lot of homeless people. It's a little shady on the streets, but there’s nothing wrong with the facility.

We picked this hotel at the last minute, out of desperation, after having an awful experience at the hotel that we had originally booked. This hotel went above and beyond our expectations. The staff were quick, friendly and knowledgeable and the rooms were spacious and clean. It’s located in a quieter area a couple miles outside the heart of Waikiki, but still close enough to easily use public transportation to all of the popular tourist spots. My room was in the 33rd floor and the view was unbeatable. I hope to revisit someday!

It’s in a quieter neighborhood outside the heart of Waikiki but still close enough to easily use public transportation to get to all of the popular tourist spots. Great stay

Small kitchen stocked with two of everything we needed. We had a room on the 33rd floor and that was fun - views over the city. Bathroom was dated, but overall, it was a great stay and we'd stay here again. Laundry available which was convenient.

There were a lot of homeless people outside the hotel, especially on Bishop and Hotel Streets. On two occasions two homeless men were argumentative and rude to me. One asked me for money and when I refused he became very rude,

The deluxe suite was beautiful, complete and inviting. I had a very relaxing stay once inside my suite. The only drawback is thah downtown Honolulu can be rather rough, due to the many homeless people OUTSIDE, but that’s not the fault of the hotel.
