Apparently, some people live permanently in this building, so my unit smelled of smoke. You have to pay for parking every day. The garage is many stories and they can assign you to any available spot. For some reason, they originally put me in the very farthest parking space on a very high floor and easily moved as soon as I requested it.. I can imagine that it was probably an amazing, swanky building at one time. It isn’t anymore. Between the bedroom and living room section of this “studio“ was a weird sliding glass door like maybe it used to have a conference room? The carpeting throughout was all bunched up and wavy. There was somebody’s hair in the bathroom. Some of the buttons were missing from the elevator, and the elevator and doors didn’t seem clean (greasy).

We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom Harbour view suite and were pleasantly surprised by 5 rooms with full windows in living room and bedroom. The king bed was great ! Very friendly staff We even walked from the hotel to our Celebrity ship at Pier 2 to board and it took us 25 minutes

Just a little disappointed.
The only bad thing was that I paid for a view of the harbor and all I had was a view of the buildings next to hotel and a tiny glimpse of the right corner of a ship yard.

The front desk staff was very friendly and was able to get us in a room early, also upon checkout they suggested we store our bag since our cruise was leaving late. The room still had trash in one can and peanut shells on the desk. The room is old and in dire need of updates. The mattress was squeaky and old. The air conditioning was loud and would go off and on every 5-10 minutes. It is on the wall next to bed. Some high pitch noise was emitted from the bathroom walls. It would last from 3 seconds to 15 seconds, all night long. I was exhausted and fell asleep at 9:30. The noise woke me at 12:30 and I did not fall asleep again until after 3:00am. Had I not been so exhausted I am sure I would not have gotten any sleep. Thank goodness it was only a one night stay.
