I stay here on my days off. So that I can enjoy all that Waikīkī has to offer. Especially the food. The rooms on the fifth floor offer amazing views. From all sides of the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay.

Negatives- no designated parking, room is far from modern. Bathroom- paint on walls peeling off, pretty much everything you would expect on an old style bathroom that's never been updated. TV remote did not work. Room has a moist feeling and smell, though opening the porch doors helps to air it out, it does come back. Positives- walking distance to aquarium, zoo, beach, mall which was pretty much where we wanted to go. Again, no parking so unless you plan on traveling to further areas with a rental, would not suggest renting a car.

Room had a foldable window which would not close. Noise from outside was so loud, felt like sleeping on the street. Door knob would not close. Sliding door it was suppose to face a balcony, instead it was opening in a highly trafficked hallway. No privacy! Everything was old and dirty. I don't even know how Expedia would accept such hotel in their network, without affecting their reputation. This hotel should have less than one star. Worst experience ever! Do not recommend.

The outlet in the kitchen kept pop in out. Couldn't use microwave or toaster or coffee machine. So annoying. Had to put toaster on the floor and use different outlet. Really old building.

Cheap stay if that what you want! Photos of property very misleading! Shower curtain molding. Mold in shower. Rust on door hinges. Bathroom Exhaust fan did not work…dirty, appear unused in quite some time Very noisy restaurant next-door. Restaurant played 1990 era music as early as 7:30 AM for seven consecutive mornings until 11:30 p.m. Restaurant area is rented from hotel owners. Managers and front desk staff laughed when I asked that music is lowered until 9:00 am. Three occasions my room lights were turned on by someone… not housekeeping. We did not ask for housekeeping,, did not receive housekeeping services, were constantly turned on.

This Hotel has lots of “Charm” if Authentic Vintage it’s Your Vibe! Others might call it Dated, but We Enjoyed being Walking distance from the Waikīkī Beach, Lots of food options from local lil’ Restaurants to convenience stores and food trucks. Our double room did have a full kitchen and Refrigerator (if preparing food it’s your thing) Overall Great Value Option, for a budget lodging! We appreciated the Beach towels the hotel offers at the counter signed to your room, also Coin op, washer and dryer machine by the lobby and small pool the kids enjoyed on the last day!

it’s not a luxury hotel but it’s very cozy, they have live music on wednesdays and out of all the places, shops, events, restaurants that say they have live music, this hotel has the best, locals who grew up there singing hawaiian songs. We also missed our flight and got pushed to a later one, we didn’t want to book a new room just for a few hours but they did let us store our luggage there while we continued to explore. absolutely loved it and will be returning!!

Worst Hotel Room in my life

Rooms are rundown; sink chipped and rusted. My husband pulled the bed out to plug in my cpap machine and it was dusty and there was a pair of ladies underpants behind the bed. We were apparently over a bar and music started in the morning and went to at least midnight. Construction trucks worked all day - there was never any quiet. Elevator was broken both days of our stay in the afternoon. There were bugs (not roaches, but a different kind of little black ones). The water in the shower never got hot. The hotel is very old and has not been kept up. When booking the room, the pictures were of the outside and the lobby which have been renovated and are nice. But the rooms are the worst I have ever stayed in. I worked or the airlines before retiring, and stayed in 300+ hotel rooms per year, so I know what a good and bad hotel room is. Anyone who stays in this hotel will be disappointed.

It’s an old building. But the pictures are deceiving. The beds were horrible. My mom is disabled in a wheelchair and they had us on the 6th floor. We couldn’t change rooms. One day the elevator was down. Had to carry her down to the next level to use the other elevator that they had that only went up to the fifth floor. The only thing good was the location because it’s two blocks from Waikiki Beach. Hawaii is always awesome. Just not this hotel. The cleaning lady even told us to get our own towels.
