No view ,to much noise after hrs management could not control other people making noise and running thru the hallways , I stayed 3 nights and I had to get my key programmed three times and it became my fault because I didn’t stop at reception to get it reprogram every time I came in into the hotel.

Good hotel to visit the old Guadalajara centre. The Cleaning staff don't do a great job (forget to place towels, leave unseen trash behind, come to the room. soo late that you have to ask them to return later or the next day, etc.) but their dinning room is quite nice, their food is good (breakfast is great), plas they have a pianist who comes every day between 7 and 10 pm or so to play wonderful pieces while you drink a glass of wine. Great way to end your day, I'd say :)

Fabulous location

Pros: Visually engaging spaces with nice roof deck to look over city.
Location: Centrally located in small park-like area. Great place to observe daily hustle and bustle of citizens. 2 beautiful churches around this small park.
Not luxurious and rooms, though well cleaned by hotel staff are musty. AC unit and vents are also noisy. Most rooms face narrow interior courtyard and are dark. Those who are very private will need to keep curtains closed for privacy. Hotel restaurant staff very attentive and location very convenient. Good buffet breakfast with ever flowing coffee. Excellent value and location superb if you have interest in the city center area.

Best thing about hotel is its location

Pros: Location is the one thing going for this place, I got a promotion room rate and free breakfast buffet. Standard room rates are not competitive imho.
Cons: The place is a bit gloomy, it has a small covered central patio hard for natural light, a more efficient natural or artificial light system w'd b Gr.
Location: See above, if you are not into the arts/cultural stuff you might want a more trendy hotel/area for your stay like Puerta de Hierro or Chapultepec Ave.
This hotel is not really modern in style or installations, it is Spanish Colonial in style as its name suggests and is fairly comfortable, well located near downtown Guadalajara within walking distance or short drive to most downtown tourist attractions. It has a nice restaurant and bar with a live piano music most nights, added conveniences are its free underground parking, a delicious French pastry shop next door, followed by a coffee shop, a domino's pizza place, a 7-Eleven convenience store, a Pharmacy and a cab (Taxi) station with service 24/7, all of this in the same street block, no further than 50 yards. Area atractions are mostly in the arts, mainly arquitecture, paintings (murals), music venues, museums and lively popular downtown scene (Picadilly style), the Degollado theater, Hospicio Cabañas, Universidad De Guadalajara, Jalisco State and City municipal palaces, Ex- Convento del carmen, San Francisco and Aranzasu churches, also its iconic Cathedral in the Spanish Renaissance style with its Neo Gothic conic towers, Plaza Liberacion, and many other cultural venues, all this places can be reached by walking through its large plaza explanades and pedestrian walkways connecting most of those places all the way to San Juan De Dios Market popular and huge for its handcrafts and affordable popular food choices, is a place bursting in activity typical of markets in Mexico, the noises, smells and sights are a delight to your senses.
