Very friendly and accomodating staff.

Pros: It was all inclusive. Food and drinks were free.
Location: In the hotel zone directly on the beach. Scuba diving at hotel and golf course. Maya ruins within walking distance as well as shopping and restaurants
We made friends with Luis who tended bar at poolside. Beautiful hotel right on the beach as well as two swimming pools and a hot tub.

Cruiseship-like fun and amenities

We had a grand time. Thanks to Martn the concierge. We were treated well from the moment we arrived until we left the property. Eventhough our checkout was at 11:00, they provided unlimited drinks and meals until our shuttle arrived for our departure. I would definitely come again. Thanks GR Solaris!

This is a very nice, clean resort.

The hotel staff is wonderful. Please tip the service workers. They work very hard at their jobs and will truly appreciate your tips. The chairs around the pool area are insufficient and people put their towels on them when they aren't even using them - drawback. The food was excellent, beautifully presented. The food around the pool is also excellent. The room was very well-kept. I think having to pay $15 a day for wifi is ridiculous but seem to be the norm. Also had a wonderful massage at the beach. All in all I would recommend this resort .I also think that a couple of the outdoor steps from the lobby could be better marked. It's possible to overstep and trip.

Pros: everything ,the staff was great the hotel was clean well kept, the food was great, lots of activities. the adult relaxing pool was wonderful the enter
Cons: there were some doors that were hard to get open
Location: there is everything to do
I was looking for a relaxing vacation. i got there early so my room was not ready, but i was able to get my wrist band and enjoy the facilities i had great experience.

Nice but I wouldn't return

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Nice pools and friendly staff.
Cons: Quality and variety of food. Themed night dinner should also offer some standard regular food for those that don't care for the themed night food.
Location: Shopping available nearby. Take the bus which is only 10.5 peso's per person one way (about 50 cents US). Bus stop is almost in front of the resort.
This resort was nice. Staff was friendly, hotel and grounds were clean and well kept. Room was nice and clean with nothing wrong with it. Mini fridge was stocked everyday. Although I had read several reviews claiming that the beds were hard, I was worried. However I found the bed firm but comfortable. Usually some type of show every night that were ok. The magic show is awesome! Drinks were usually strong unlike past resorts I have been to. No need to ask for more booze. Pools were nice and kept clean and the main pool has a nice swim up bar. Lots of pool activities to keep busy if that is your thing to do. The only reason I wouldn't return is the food isn't very good and not enough choices of american food. I realize they need to cater to people from all over the world so there was a lot of food not to our liking. We are basically american fare food. After several days of eating in the restaurants we decided the best food was the snack shack and pizza that was offered everyday from 11:30 to 5:00 (?) The pizza is really good. They also have a deli that is open all night long until morning. Room service is also available with a limited menu. The only other reason I wouldn't return is that the waves are really big and strong here and unless you are sturdy and strong the will knock you on your butt. I realize that this is no fault of the resort and I am not sure if they are always like that but they were every day while we were here. Missed playing in the ocean everyday.

Steps from the beautiful beach.

Wished there was free Wi-Fi and the gym could used an update. Beside that it was an excellent vacation. Staff were wonderful and the food was so much better than expected based on a previous all inclusive experience somewhere else.The nightly show was great to keep us entertained.

All inclusive not what it's cracked up to be

This hotel has a friendly staff and they keep the hotel rooms, and hotel grounds and pool clean and neat. Some of the problems are.... The pool water was cold, the food was not good, and the beds were uncomfortable.

The room has no sound insulation

We were put in a room connected to another room. The two rooms separated by a door. We could clearly hear every tiny sound from other room. The first night were wakes up at 3:00 am by the alarm from next room. Second night were wakes up again by loun noise of some drunk girls next room. This has been the worst hotel room we have ever stayed and felt like sleep with some strangers in a same room.
