"Nice hotel"
I arrived at 11 pm on a wedensday. Had no problems with my check-in. Loved the fact that room service was included in the "all inclusive" meals. Hated the fact that wifi was available only at the lobby at a price. At that price I would have expected it would reach all over the hotel. Also hated the fact that the hotel did not have a shuttle but later learned that most hotels in Cancun don't have a shuttle. Pool was nice and the access to the beach was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a little dated in its decoration, but all in all I would recommend this hotel.

"Spectacular Customer Service, Great Food & Drinks"
We traveled to Cancun as a couple and spent four nights of our trip at the Omni. It was a spectacular resort, and it surpassed my expectations in every way possible. I noticed other reviews before my trip of people complaining about the food, so I started to get nervous. However, when I arrived and sat down for my first meal, I was very pleased. We attended all restaurants that were included - there's a buffet, a pool restaurant that serves bar/cafe food, a Mexican restaurant, a sushi place, DaVinci (Italian food), Pina Colada, and Deva (Indonesian food). We did not go to La Vista, which is an extra $39 per person. We were satisfied with the other options, so there was no reason to. The best restaurant is definitely Pina Colada (which also turns into Deva for dinner). We went there every day for breakfast, and some days for lunch. If you're extremely lucky you'll be waited on by Francisco. He was an absolute delight, and had us smiling and laughing at every meal. We tried the buffet for breakfast once, and again for dinner, and it was sub-par. It's OK for quick snacks, but you're usually better off trying one of the other restaurants. Deva provided my two favorite meals of the entire trip. Wonderful food, even if you're not a huge fan of Indonesian food. The view from the room was spectacular, as was the layout of the beach. There is plenty of room, and lots of beach chairs and umbrellas up for grabs. If you want to take full advantage of the all-inclusive drinks, the numbe

"Absolutely beautiful resort!"
I've stayed in a number of Cancun resorts, and this one is by far the best. The staff is so helpful and friendly, the resort is impeccably maintained, the food and drinks are great, and the location is perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great visit, and I will definitely stay here again.

"Good all inclusive"
We walked the beach on the south end, GR solaris looked the nicest. Multiple pools, an adults only area, easy access to drinks. Watch out for the hawks at the airport when you arrive. Don't stop for the people just before the exit. They claim they are from your shuttle company, but they are actually scam artists (or attempted ones). They talk you into going to visit their "mexican resort." They offer tequilla, tourist tix to an attraction, and a Mexican blanket. The resort we visited on our 2nd day was called "El Cid." They give you a tour, wine and dine you, and then try to force you into joining their elite club. The first offer is for more then $150,000! Then they want you to pay it back in 5 years. Once you say no, they send other people over who try to lower and/or sweeten the deal. They don't take no for answer. We said no easily 25x. Honestly, it wasn't worth the hassle. They also say tell you during the initial scamming it will take only 90 minutes. It took nearly 4 hours out of our day. We finally got out there w/out giving in. Save yourself, don't take their initial offer at the airport

"Modern Freindly Entertaining"
Main areas very clean and contemporary. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Entertainment staff excellent they made our time there very fun. Speciality restaurants a little disappointing the only one I would recommend is the Mexican. Buffet had a good selection to choose from and was very good on the Christmas Eve dinner. The restaurant by the pool during the day could have been kept a little tidier but the pizzeria at the other end of the pool was very good. Guests should not be allowed to reserve beds with towels they take to the room the evening before, if the time of the pool opening and towels being given out is 8am that is when you should be able to reserve a bed, also if towel is on a bed for over 1-2 hours without anyone there staff should remove the towel.

"Beautiful Eco Friendly Resort"
My boyfriend and I had the best experience at The Beloved! The staff was attentive and friendly (shout-out to Hayden at the Lobby Bar!) and went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best vacation possible. We arrived to the resort around 7am (after a red-eye flight) and were offered use of the Hospitality room to nap and freshen up while we waited for our room to be ready. This made for the best first impression, and really helped start our vacation off right. We were both impressed by the wide ranging food and drink selections at each restaurant and bar - we've both been to other resorts where this simply isn't the case. The beach was open and well maintained - you could walk very far down the beach without being bothered. We also loved being able to walk to the lighthouse and through the marina.

"Good hotel, beautiful beach!"
The Krystal Cancun is a nice hotel, not super fancy, but is reasonable for the price and is in a location that allows you to walk to so much more. The hotel is clean, a little weather beaten in areas, but the staff was working on that during our stay. The hotel food leaves a little something to be desired, the buffet for breakfast is probably the only thing that you need to eat at the hotel, don't bother with room service, the menu is limited, the food was sub-par, and the staff was rude. There are a ton of decent restaurants in walking distance, there is a book in the room, pass up the chains, and you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of food in Cancun. We stayed in a romantic room, and what a view, up there on the top of my list, and I have traveled the beaches of the world. There were some staff that stood out above the rest on our trip, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable; Julio our bellhop was on the spot and super helpful, he went above and beyond his duties to welcome us, recommended a great restaurant and did everything with a smile on his face, Vendy was a server who was on the spot every time, polite beyond words, Hugo and Victor (?) were the bartenders at the far poolside bar, really good guys, friendly, top-notch service. Elena our housekeeper was wonderful, and made sure that our room as always spotless, and it was. In all, the Krystal is a nice mid-level hotel that met all of our expectations.
