The beach and location of this resort was perfect. We enjoyed the size and space of the villa our family stayed in, but the furnishings need an update. The food and restaurant options were limited. It was impossible to make a reservation at one of the two restaurants for dinner. The food itself was mediocre, including room service. We liked the size of the resort for convenience, everything is walkable and close by, however, there are a lot of stairs. For those with disabilities or not as mobile, there is no avoiding climbing stairs in certain areas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and public spaces were kept clean. The beach was beautiful, with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The sand in front of the resort was well maintained. Overall, we appreciated the number of beds and bathrooms in our villa. Each room had its own A/C unit. The resort met our needs, but did not meet or exceed our expectations.

The hotel overall is a nice hotel, dinner on Paloma is literally the same every night and they are very limited on restaurants for dinner, they have so many new staff that don’t know nothing about the hotel it’s really unfortunate. I used to love this hotel when it was OMNI food was amazing a different menu every night but now that its Wymdam everything changed I wouldn’t go back. Don’t recommend it..

The service at the front desk and majority of the restaurants was good. We only had one bad experience at the Mexican restaurant at night at La Piña. Part of the restaurant is seated at the sand. They made no attempt to try and accommodate us where we would not be sitting the sand. Then we waited 15 mins and no one came to attend to us. The food options are very limited which was disappointing and there are not many activities to participate in during the day if you are trying to stay in the resort.

The staff and hotel rooms were pleasant and nice! However, we were traveling as a family group of 9 with 5 in a villa and 4 in two hotel rooms. At check in, the villa was not cleaned and therefore our family members had to wait for over an hour for the villa to be available. I booked a king ocean view room and after a very lengthy check in, got all the way to our room to find I was placed in a double NOT what I booked. I had to go all the way back to the front desk with luggage in tow to complain and have this corrected. No perks or incentives for our much delayed and messy check in was even offered. What was supposed to be our first afternoon/evening in Cancun was essentially wasted with the multiple delays (that lasted over two hours) and by the end, our entire group was exhausted. In addition, the villa had a sliding glass door that was nearly impossible to open and close and the tvs did not have functioning channels that the hotel rooms offered. We were provided instructions at check in to download a hotel app to use to book reservations at the resort restaurants and spa. The restaurant reservations were a pain and we booked 3 couples massages for the last day of our trip that were listed as submitted on the app and when calling to confirm, were told by spa staff that they were not booked and we shouldn’t have been told to use the app… the only availability at that point was for 1 of the 3 at 5:00 which was the same time as our dinner reservation. Overall bad experience
