I did not liked the food qualiy & variety, however the food was not salty and no excess of sugar on sweets (at least healthy). "Bad coffee served". Majority of employees were very good. Very upset with the misleading check in process trying to sell the time shares. Vey old hotel and will not go back for sure. Entertainment was ok but not excellent like Solaris hotel in Cancun.

The pools were nice. The service was terrible, especially Osvaldo who was the host at Davinci on Friday (Oct 14) evening. He was very, very rude and not professional at all. He is obviously not there for the customers.

I liked the KuKu bar that had swings on the beach at the bar and a jacuzzi swim up bar in the back. Loved the ease of being able to swim in the ocean and then able to go to the taco or sushi bar without having to change, just put on a cover up. Numerous pools and plenty of beach lounge chairs. Maid services were excellent! They were renovating the rooms near us during the day, so if you went in to take a shower or maybe go shopping downtown, you would encounter workers but since it was only during the day, it wasn't an intrusion. The only other con was that the mini bar is NOT fridge temp. It just keeps drinks from getting hot lol. If you like room temp beer...we compensated by filling the ice bucket and submerging beer as needed as soon as we walked in the room. It worked but would've preferred a mini fridge. Toilet paper was bottom of the barrel cheap but not a deal breaker. All staff were wonderful. I had such a wonderful time! We will definitely be back!!

The majority of the staff treated us like we were a burden to them. The rooms were very noisy as the floors above ours were under construction. They were drilling/banging the walls as early as 9 am. Upon arrival they gave me the wrong room. They gave us a 2 bed instead of the king bed I requested. They did not have a room available until the next day. We attended a meeting where we were offered to buy the Caracol Vacation Membership. We declined to purchase and as result we were literally waved to "get out". The 2 male representatives we talked to at the end made us feel like we were trash for not having the means to afford the membership. The food was HORRIBLE. Not all restaurants were open everyday and you have to make reservations by 10 am. The buffet is not open everyday. The little restaurants around the pools offer kids size snacks so you have to order doble. On many occasions we ordered 2 servings of french-fries and they will bring us only 1. One time we waited to see if it would come but we got tired of waiting as the server never came back to ask us if we were ok. Also, not all alcoholic beverages are included and if you just want to buy one drink of it, you cant. You have to buy the whole bottle. Also, the day we arrived we went to eat to La Pina (The Pineapple) and they gave us microwave heated fries. I almost burned my hand as I was passing the plate to my husband. We also went to have dinner at the DaVinci Restaurant and La Vista, both tasted like frozen food.

A fabulous experience! The staff is very friendly and the hotel is beautiful. The one thing that is a potential deal killer for my next trip to Cancun is that the beds are very hard, for two weeks I didn’t sleep well and my overnight guest left in the wee hours because of the uncomfortable bed. I guess back pain is as good a reason as any to get up in the morning. 😉

I absolutely love this resort! They have everything you need including entertainment, friendly staff, yummy food options and a beautiful view! I have to say the staff is the best part they go above and beyond! We had two wonderful people take care of us at the pool Angel and Uliseus (not sure of spelling). Bernardo at Pina Coloda was phenomenal everyone remembers you, your orders and had them ready at your table or chairs in minutes! This is by far my favorite resort in Cancun. Downside is people reserve chairs with towels very early in the morning but this time I saw staff coming around and taking them from the chairs if people were not there! So that was a pleasant change! The ocean is beautiful but the waves were a bit to rough for me! Overall a great resort and great people! Just big enough for me while not being too small or too big. I love it!

I liked the location of the property. It is close to beach. Food and beverage were good. Some staffs were not friendly. The level of service was dependent your amount of tips. There was a water leakage in the bathroom from one of the lights. Overall ok hotel with potential to improve in many areas.
