"We were charged for a bunch of things we didn’t use as well as double charged for resort fees. The prices are definitely steep and they were understaffed. The pools are small and were cloudy. The sound proofing is also poor. The staff was nice and the room was clean."

"Hotel is very outdated. The check in time is 4pm, we missed the DJ because check in is so late and it ends at 5. By the time we got in our room they were done. Honestly next time I rather spend more money and get a cleaner, newer room. Glad we only spend one night there."

"I’ve been staying at the Ace Hotel with my wife going back to 2008 and since 2013 we’ve been coming with our daughter. This was the first time we weren’t allowed to stay at the main pool due to new policies set by the change in management. We were forced to stay at the smaller pool designated for families where the atmosphere was mediocre at best. The prices have also significantly increased for the rooms and the food. We were even charged for parking for the first time ever. Perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t already tack on multiple “resort fees.” Honestly, for the price we paid to stay, it’s hard to justify going back after the changes mentioned above. It makes me sad that it’s likely the last time we stay at the Ace Hotel after 18 years."
