Hotel location was great. Hotel and room were clean . Parking was ample and convenient. Staff was courteous and helpful. Only small complaint I have is the shower head…. May be it’s our room…but the setting in shower head made the water stream so sharp that it actually hurt. Could not change the setting . Other than that the stay was great!

Great! Stay wonderful property but I find it odd that you have to go around to a side entrance and not enter through the main lobby after hours... Seems pretty simple to put a tap card there and would keep people and lit well viewable areas

Great Hotel over all! Service was excellent from when we checked in and when my door got locked. My kids didn’t like the beds but I fall sleep anywhere. Pool was clean and jacuzzi was nice and hot. The amenities around the pool were great for me and kids. Easy parking place safe. Will definitely look into booking again.

OK hotel but no service. I had 1 big issue and 1 small issue that I told the staff about and both were ignored. Big issue: the shower was cold which was very unpleasant. The water temperature is not hot enough. Plus the shower head (not adjustable) sprays small streams of water in all directions making it feel even colder. The small issue would have taken 1 minute to resolve but no attempt was made. All of these hotels in Palm Springs are old hotels/motels updated to varying degrees of success. While The Dunes does seem to have tried to make the inside of the rooms nice, they didn't do any of the important work in their renovations. So the walls are still extremely thing and you can hear everything. For the price, I would not recommend this hotel.

The location is great, the hotels overall room quality was great. My only complaint is the cleaning carts that the staff use move the cleaning supplies and towels around are so noisy that you hear everything every time a cart goes by your room and for somebody who’s trying to sleep in and get well rested before another long journey that’s a big problem. They need different wheels on those carts. No one wants to hear Housekeeping squawking on their walkie-talkies right outside your room either this was an ongoing issue for the two days that I stayed there
