Laid back, charming and fun

Fun times with family and friends. Poolside service was impeccable. Front desk was always lovely. There are a few pool floats but always a good idea to bring your own (shout out to the friendly and professional pool bar staff who can assist you with inflating it) two hot tubs (one warm and one hot). Water dispenser in the lobby, mattress is on the soft and cushiony side. Note to management: please fix the ice machines upstairs!

Staff was AMAZING! We'd go here again just for them. Cantina pops off but I think the restaurant was the go to for those who like something more private. Food was solid. Our friends got married at this venue and we had a blast. Thanks, you guys.

The place just feels old and run-down. Nothing really appears intentional or well-cared-for. Checking in was met with an apathetic, unemotional, and dismissive attitude, even after they made a mix-up with our room keys. On a positive note, the pool was enjoyable, and the drinks were great. The bartenders worked extremely hard. However, everything else felt dirty, broken, and neglected. The pool beds were rusted and stained, and the umbrellas were broken and in disarray. The rooms offered only the bare minimum. The vibrant colors showcased in the photos were faded and chipped in reality. Our room had just one black-and-white photo, along with a table and chair that were barely usable. Unfortunately, our TV didn’t work. Honestly, I felt a little deceived by the pictures, but I acknowledge that’s on me. Was it a fun weekend? Absolutely. Would I go back? Nope.

I liked the room because it was simple and spacious. Wish the poo was open later than 10pm because it is so relaxing, so if it was until midnight that would be great. I liked the drag show and performers. The free margaritas was a great touch.4

The pool area and all the colorful walls are cute…it’s a mellow vibe for sure, but the rooms…. Well, they photograph well, but in person, they feel very cheap and you’re very aware of how old the building is. It’s not a dump by any means, they have a lot of thoughtful details and it has its charm, but it’s not at all worth what they charge. Charging more than 100 a night, is just plain inappropriate. If it were lower priced, I’d give it 4.5 stars but it’s. 2.5-3 for me.

NOPE don’t bother staying here

This place was GROSS. Not worth the money. They make it look all nice in the lobby but when you start going to your room that's when you realize how NASTY this place is. The walkway to the elevator to my room was through the maintenance hallway where all the DIRTY TOWELS are just piled up by the door. Then you get to walking to your room and you notice the STAINED disgusting carpet all the way down. Dust layers lining the corners. Inside the room, the carpet is stained, the tables are stained and aren't cleaned, the bed sheets are stained and aren't cleaned, the walls are CRACKED and stained. They try to distract you with 1 orange painted wall and some bathrobes. Then, to top it all off, the light switches don't work. The bathroom light only stays on for 20 seconds and then switches off due to faulty wiring. OR it stays on and won't turn off unless you hold the switch down but as soon as you let go it goes on again. I left within a half hour of getting there. I was offered a room upgrade but if the hallways are any indication of the rest of the building, NO THANK YOU. No amount of free margarita vouchers is worth me putting up with bad hygiene. After driving across 3 states to finish my vacation, I drove another 2 hours straight home.

I specifically requested an exterior facing room when booking and confirmed it via email with the hotel prior to arriving. When I checked in, the desk agent asked me if there was a specific request with my room. I reiterated that I had requested an exterior facing room. Despite this, I was given an interior room facing the pool. There is zero ability to nap or relax in those rooms during the day with the DJ and noise from the pool. Not remotely peaceful.

We was so excited but when we arrived they told us the pool close for few day's and was told you can go the Ace Hotel for pool use that was so nice and staff was so friendly would Book Ace Hotel next time. We asked for clean towel never got them just the vibe was not good at The Saguaro needs updating
