The hotel people were lovely ,helpful and friendly. I did want a street balcony and I was up graded to a mountain view which deprived me of a lovely coffee with a sunrise and a view of my favorite city waking up. I really missed the dinner menu and hope that comes back soon. Hope to see you again next year!

This hotel was terrible! I’ve been messaging them for over two months now just to get a refund for parking that we were charged for and did not need. I’ve contacted the Hyatt corporate office as well. I’ve never left a bad review about a hotel before but this was something else! The property is dated, which would normally be fine. But our room was a mess! It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, there were bugs in the bathtub, the fire alarm wouldn’t stop beeping, the couch and ottoman were horribly stained, etc…. The list goes on. We had asked for housekeeping for one day during our stay, which never happened. We were given sheets, garbage bags, towels, and were tasked with doing it ourselves. We spent a good chunk of money on this room and we’re thoroughly disappointed. I’ve been asking for refund, but have been told today by Hyatt that I need to request through Travelocity. I’m hoping to accomplish that. I do not recommend this hotel. The k my thing it had going for it was location.

Check in took over an hour and a half standing in line. We didn’t get our room until 6:45 pm. I never got the room I paid for, instead I had a “B” half of a connecting suite with not so much as a chair in the room. On the plus side, the manager and staff worked very hard to ameliorate the poor situation.

We have been staying at the property for over 10 years.. It has deteriorated every year.Should have had a makkor remodel 5 years ago. Daily maintenance is awful. It has slowly fallen apart. Amenities are out of order and un safe THE STAFF IS NICE and does the best they can. We wont stay thete again..

This was our third, week-long stay at the Hyatt downtown Palm Springs.  From our very first stay, this property has never been up to the Hyatt standard in our option; and we've stayed at many both state-side and internationally. The mountain view and its location have heretofore kept us coming back, but this will be our last stay. In simple terms, the property is derelict and the owners have clearly maximized deferred maintenance and it shows in spades. The building is faded and has mismatched paint patches everywhere, Evening lighting is mismatched and/or doesn't work. The front fountains are dysfunctional and in disrepair. The building's landscaping is shot. The pool area is unkempt, the furniture dirty and, the decking pealed. The pool bar, nor the front bar, was opened during our stay. Our room key was problematic for all but two days of our stay. We brought friends with us this stay (their own room) and our condense was that the room was tired, frayed and worm carpet and shower drains that didn't. The property seemed understaffed and the manager was dismissive at check-in; almost sad.  All and all, there are lots of choices in Palm Springs, and sadly we can no longer recommend the Hyatt.
