So much potential

Check-in was disappointin, our room wasn’t ready at 4 PM, and staff couldn’t provide an estimated time. Thankfully, it was available about 30 minutes later, but after a long car ride with multiple kids, the delay was a major inconvenience. I had specifically requested a room without steps and was assured that would be possible, yet the room we received had about eight steps down to it. On top of that, the doorway was in poor condition, dirty and covered with bugs and spider webs. The pool area, which includes a water slide and splash pad, was unfortunately overrun with bees, likely due to a nearby trash can attracting them. This property has potential, especially for families, but it really needs more consistent maintenance and improved customer service. We chose this resort for convenience, but everything felt like a hassle, disappointing, to say the least

The property is beautiful but understaffed. When I arrived in my room the thermostat was at 80. I tried without success to lower the setting. I placed calls to both the front desk and to housekeeping/maintenance for information on resetting the thermostat. Although I called multiple times, there was no answer. Finally, I left the room to find an employee. I found a friendly maintenance man who was heading to another room. Only with a special code was he able to reset the thermostat. He also adjusted a non-functional lock on the balcony. He was great. But a guest should be able to adjust a thermostat without a code. The door was a minor issue. The staff should have answered the phone calls. I had stayed there before without such issues.

Staff was amazing. Anybody we interacted with was so helpful. Han at the front desk who checked us in, was very friendly and made everything happen on my special request list. I was able to check in at 12 PM early. Room was perfect. we loved it. We will definitely be coming back
