When I made the reservation, I requested an accessible room. The desk attendant told me that there were only two accessible rooms in the hotel, and both were occupied. I asked for a room close to an entry door. When I got to the room, we found that this room was an accessible room. In the room, the shutters would not stay open. The sliding glass door to the patio was sealed shut and could not be opened. The TV remote is a challenge to operate. There is no handicap parking close to the hotel guest rooms. There are about 6 handicap spaces located at the furthest northwest parking lot completely away from the guestrooms. Not conducive for guests with special needs. The bathroom doors squeak so loud that it wakes everyone up. Last but not least, they surprise you with a $25.00 per night parking fee for inadequate parking.

The price was good. The hotel is very old in my room. It also had a bad odor in the room. Paint dropping all over the floor. Sliding door was stuck all the time with lots of old Paint.

I liked the idea of old hollywood , the future generation will not appricate it for sure , the place says it was remolded ? Loved the salt pool , the breakfest is more a contential but they charge for it and if you want eggs . well you have to pay for that, better off going out to eat, overall not bad for what we paid , to get away for a short trip friends and I. would stay again

“Come inside, have a cup of tea & meet the Mrs”

There was $150 deposit that apparently could have been set at $100 at the discretion of the front desk. The continental breakfast that is included is an additional $15 and consists of ego type waffles that you toast on your own literally there’s a toaster to the left. There’s maybe cereal, oatmeal and juice and it is buffet any hot food like Two eggs and two slices of either bacon or sausage is an additional $10. If you would like to take your food up to your room, the buffet is not an option and the Menu prices for that is for example, a Singlemuffin and a cup of coffee about $13. There is an additional $20 parking fee and only one spot in the far back corner has shade. There is a 20% added on gratuity for room service being delivered to your room. The lady that delivered, my food, was kind enough to recognize that the gratuity was already added. I tipped her an additional amount for acknowledging and noticing that on our own. The Poor bar side food menu when served felt like it was a childlike portion, As well as overpriced. My first impression of the front desk staff was Cold and Lacked hospitality Etiquette for obvious new guest as I was thrilled to be there, I felt the feeling wasn’t mutual. They were kind enough towards the end with an extra hour towards a late check out. The rooms were somewhat quiet, other than an occasional motor like or drill type of sound over my shoulder, and perhaps someone inside of the wall. I could be wrong, But if I’m right, do I get a refund
