"It’s an old hotel so the walls are very thin, a lot of people were there with young children, teenagers, and they were having a blast but it was really loud. The food is very overpriced and not very good. Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean but the place is OLD."

"The hotel has a lot more potential, and few of the smaller things would go a long ways. For example, in both rooms I stayed in (from one weekend to the next), the sinks were cracked, the toilets struggled to flush, and the tubs had so significant rust around the drain. Furniture also looks like it needs replaced being so worn, but it was not something I noticed at first. The parking lot underneath is great for extra security and I did several folks patrolling down below to ensure the vehicles were locked and secured. The best part of this hotel, and the main reason why I chose Hyatt, was for its location downtown AND amazing view of the mountain directly behind the building. I also want to emphasize that there is the advertised rate AND THEN parking fees ($63 for a two night stay) AND a Destination fee ($25ish per day). Expect to spend $100 - $150 more on this aspect alone that is very misleading in my perspective. If it costs, just let me know about these fees instead of surprising me about them when I arrive."

"Last-minute trip with the family to Palm Springs turned out so fun and memorable here at the dunes hotel. I went the weekend of June 26 through the 28th. The staff was incredibly sweet. The check-in process was so easy and smooth and I must add that pricing for the weekend was so affordable, all the rooms were renovated. The location was perfect. We were able to walk around the downtown area. I can't wait to come back the only thing I did wish that they had more of was their snack /breakfast options. Other than that, it was perfect. They even had bar set up by the pool which was awesome for all the adults lol. They didn't have hard liquor which sucked, but they did have beer and seltzer at a really reasonable price. Overall it was such a great time!"
