At Cayo Loco, as we affectionately call our condo, we have implemented Enhanced cleaning procedures before each guest arrives and after they leave. Clorex wipes, lysol disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer and disposable masks are supplied for your use. You have the option of having our property manager meet you for a meet & greet or you can choose to check-in with no person to person contact.
Our Punta de Mita beachfront condo, Cayo Loco, is located in a safe, small 12 unit gated condominium building on the beach in Punta de Mita, Mexico.
We are located on the 2nd floor, one floor up from the pool/beach area, and one floor down from the garage and entry way. When looking at the condo from the beach we are on the right, the larger side of the condo building. The condo is a spacious 1800 square feet, with an additional 250 square foot beachfront deck. From the moment you walk through the front door you will have breathtaking views of the ocean.
Enjoy easy access to a pristine pool and hot tub. If you are a beachcomber, we have a lovely private beach within the gates of the condo. Hop in the warm water, or relax on the sand with our shade palapas and chairs. Just a few steps beyond the gate is the beautiful public beach. We provide you with (4) comfortable Tommy Bahama beach chairs, (2) umbrellas, beach blanket, boogie boards, lots of beach towels, and a cooler and cooler bags for your convenience. If you like to grill out, please enjoy the outdoor kitchen by the pool. Complete with a nice bar area, small refrigerator, and a gas grill, you'll be sure to have what you need for your poolside get together. For a more private experience, use our grill on our spacious covered patio that overlooks the ocean. Tired after a day of fun at the beach, enjoy the comfy lounger on the patio to read a book or just to relax.
Cayo Loco has been lovingly furnished with our guests in mind. We have a king sized bed in the master bedroom, complete with a U.S. pillow top mattress, and new comfy bedding. All bedroom pillows have pillow protectors under the pillowcases on them.
The second bedroom has a queen sized bed with a U.S. pillow top mattress, and new bedding. We also have a twin bed with a topper and new bedding in this room. All mattresses have a zippered protective cover under the mattress pad. There is a comfy queen sized sofa-bed in the family room with a topper that you are welcome to use. Both bathrooms come fully equipped with fluffy towels, as well as soap, shampoo, and conditioner for your stay. The kitchen at Cayo Loco is truly a chef's kitchen with all stainless steel appliances including a wine refrigerator! You will also have access to all dinnerware, silverware, stemware and cookware. The sink in the kitchen island has a reverse osmosis water purification system. We have a 5 gallon water jug dispenser with cold and normal water temperature options in the kitchen with complimentary refills! Each room has an air conditioner controlled by a remote, as well as ceiling fans to keep you nice and cool. We have all the modern conveniences of home, including Wi-Fi, Fiber-optic Internet, USB ports in every room, a new 65" Smart TV w/sound bar, and an amazon firestick.. There is also a DVD player with lots of movies to choose from. Of course if you came to Mexico to unplug, there are board games, cards, and a take and leave library of books as well.
The state of the art Punta de Mita hospital is a 5 minute walk from our condo. There are also 2 walk up docs locations in town also a 5 minute walk.
