While our stay didn’t start off smoothly, it ended on a high note because of Mario, the Hotel Duty Manager at Fiesta Americana. Due to an issue with water on the floor, we had to switch rooms multiple times, which was understandably frustrating. However, Mario stepped in and completely changed the tone of our experience. He was attentive, calm, professional, and genuinely empathetic. He listened, took ownership, and made sure the situation was handled with care and urgency. What could have been a negative experience was transformed into a positive one because of his leadership and commitment to guest satisfaction. Mario made us feel valued, heard, and appreciated—and most importantly, confident that Fiesta Americana stands behind its guests. Because of Mario, we would absolutely return and recommend this resort. Service like his is what truly sets a property apart. Thank you, Mario, for turning things around and making our stay memorable for all the right reasons.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Every area of the resort was very clean. The pools were all great and we never had an issue finding pool chairs or shade. The beach was kept very clean. The staff was incredible. From the "Experience Makers" working so hard to make our stay wonderful, the front desk staff was so pleasant and check in was very quick. The pool and beach servers were always available and always checking if we needed refills. The wait staff in the restaurants were all so fantastic. We even had one of the chefs come out and speak with my husband (who is vegetarian) to create a meal specific for him. The entertainment was amazing. The aqua lights show and Mexican night were very entertaining, with great performances. The resort itself is older, and could use some updates. Some of the tiles in our room were broken, there was noticable salt corrosion on a lot of the chrome finishes, and there are still old signs from the previous hotel (restaurant names mostly) which made the first few days confusing trying to find anything. The food was all very good, but the vegetarian options are extremely limited, so we had to do some deep searching to find food for my husband to eat. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would recommend this resort to our friends.

It was a good experience overall.Food quality was ok but could be a lot better. For example, coffee was very bad . From a more positive perspective, it was clean, quiet, convenient, and the staff were hospitable. This hotel really deserves a better gym though! There were not a single treadmill in the whole property!

First of all they did a cute towel cake with flowers on the bed for my boyfriend’s birthday. Originally I had booked a restaurant off site for his birthday but the food was actually so good that we just ate at the restaurants at the all inclusive. There was also a jacuzzi on the balcony which we weren’t sure was included with all bookings but we were super happy to have it. The pools are very clean and maintained well - lots of employees walking around cleaning and checking for cleanliness. All the people working there were friendly and really helpful and happy. We tipped about 20 MXN to employees there. The pools were so relaxing and I honestly have a hard time saying anything negative. We’ll definitely be coming back. I also heard that management switched recently so older reviews may be reflecting the old management? Overall, super impressed.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I repeat DO NOT STAY here. The property is not what it claims to be. We booked when it was a previous hotel name and were never made aware of the change. The description of the hotel is deceiving. The hotel claims to have 7 restaurants and a store. At one point there was not one place to eat because all the restaurants were closed. There was no way to order food near the pool. We were scammed into upgrading our room which was on a special floor that had food laying out that animals were eating and it ended up being a standard room. There was a big storm and the roof started leaking. We had no towels in our room. We ended up leaving the resort after one night because there was nothing to do and nowhere to eat. When we asked for a refund for the nights we were no longer staying at the resort, they refused to refund us. We had no issue paying for the night we were there but refusing to refund for the nights we weren’t even staying was unacceptable and unprofessional. Please save your money and got to the Hyatt Ziva!

Chose to pay extra for upgraded room with veiw and A/C did not work. Food was subpar did not taste like the dishes they where offering i.e. sushi, argentian steak, mediterranian. Overall disappointed we paid almost 400 a night for all inclusive experience. We ended up leaving a day early and booking into a different hotel to salvage vacation.
