The rooms were extremely clean and the staff was very attendable. I will call for a service and within less than 5mins they arrived to assist. The food options and taste are also worth mentioning, no complaints there. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

This place was a prefect adult only spot. It was clean, safe and quiet. I that no one bothered you but very welcoming at the same time. The property had a little bit of everything for you. I know the people always talk about the food but I would like to say, they had a lot and if you had a special request., they tried their best to make it possible. I would stay again

We had a great stay at this property! I’ve been an Expedia silver member for awhile now and have never actually received the perks, but the Ocean Maya resort made sure we received our full benefit. We got the VIP treatment, service was amazing and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The resort had a good mix of quiet and fun so there was something for everyone. Loved our stay here!

The property itself is very nice the staff was very kind and friendly but, the food is about average and there is mosquitoes everywhere make sure to bring bug spray and as a PSA there also isn’t any AC anywhere except the bedrooms and the sports bar. Even in the indoor restaurants there isn’t any AC so keep that in mind when booking.

We booked 9 nights here thinking we’d get the relaxing, all-inclusive vacation we paid for. Instead, we got a nightmare. Our room smelled like mildew, the AC leaked so badly we had to keep a trash can under it the entire stay, and the bathroom was crawling with bugs. Guest services brushed us off until day 7 then only offered to move us because they wanted to swap our TV. The food? A disaster. The buffet was closed except for breakfast, almost every restaurant needed impossible reservations, and the few options left were terrible. The Italian place was so bad we literally spit out the food and left. We ended up booking excursions just to avoid being stuck at the hotel. On checkout day, construction crews were ripping apart the room next to us, and then the hotel tried to hold us over a missing bracelet and make us pay for it. After everything we went through, that was the final slap in the face. We come to Playa every year and love it but this resort was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for an stress-free vacation, look anywhere else.

Went with my friend. Property was nice, a little cozier than the photos suggested but that didn’t bother me. The rooms were nice and the air conditioners were a Godsend. The food was not great in my opinion even in the restaurants. The employees were great and they did great with entertaining us. We did get roped into a timeshare exchange program but that’s on us in exchange for free messages. Beach in August has lots of seaweed. The downtown area was bustling and more touristy than we were hoping but overall for a long weekend stay, I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. Oh. Bring bug spray!! It’s like $50 otherwise

La propiedad está en buenas condiciones y el personal de las actividades de los bares José y de las actividades Alejandro se portaron esperctacular. El hotel para ser de adultos tiene muchas restricciones y un ambiente demasiado pasivo. De Otra parte la última noche no me percaté que dejé mis gafas de sol sobre la cama y al regresar ya no estaban. Solicité una investigación pero me tocaba regresar y nunca me contestaron. Para mí estuvo bueno para una vez pero no regresaría.
