It was disappointing

I'm sorry but our trip was disappointing, everyone from check in desk to conciarge desk staff was rude and didn't want to be bothered to answer questions for us. We rented a car from hertz that was part of the hotel and after coming home on the first day of our rental we parked our car with valet waking up the next morning finding out our car was turned in and rented to a Luther family with all our stuff still in it. It was a nightmare.

Stayed here on last day of our December vacation

The hotel was new and modern with some resort park like features. We had a beautiful day in December and really enjoyed sunbathing at the large pool, which had a great hot tub, waterslide, and lazy river setup. Our room with king bed overlooked the pool and was clean, quiet, somewhat upscale, with nice setup overall. We had a nice view of the pool from the window but I don't think any of the rooms have a balcony. The room also had a plush leather chair and ottoman which was very comfortable for those who don't like watching tv while sitting in bed. The hvac worked well and was quiet, nice bathroom, we had an in-room safe, and mini-fridge which we really like wherever we stay. The nightly rate also required extra fees for "resort" and "self-parking" which seems like a typical money grab in Florida but overall was less than we paid for similiar hotels in Miami and Clearwater Beach. The hotel had lots of parking, and easy access to International Drive and local restaurants. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly stay here again in the future.

Hilton Orlando Destination Parkway

Pros: The fantastic pool
Cons: Getting in and out of the hotel parking lot. Need new system.
Location: Location was great. Close to International Dr. and all Restaurants. Close to the main thoroughfares.
Hotel was fantastic. It was zero entry to 4ft.6". It had a waterslide, waterfalls, basketball hoops, lazy river and hot tub. The seating was plentiful and they gave you nice towels for bathing. Registration at the hotel was slow and the agents could have been more informative about the hotel and where activities and restaurants were located. The concierge station was extremely helpful and offered discounts to area attractions. Parking was plentiful on three different levels but entering and exiting the lot caused delays. Room keys needed to be swiped on a machine and it didn't work the majority of the time. It just wasn't our card but other cars had problems as well. Location of the hotel was ideal since it was near the entrance of the B-Line Expressway and I-4 as well as close to restaurants on International Dr. Downside to this hotel was the daily charge of $22.00 for a resort fee and an $18.00 parking fee. The parking fee should have been waived with all the trouble people had getting in and out of the hotel. Housekeeping services were excellent 5 out of the 7 days. We had a view over the parking lot but we also had a perfect view of the Orlando Eye which was lit every night. It was especially awe inspiring with its red, white and blue colors on 9/11.

Close to everything

Pros: Quiet room and close to everything.
Cons: Sanitize headboard and pillows that smelled of BO.
Location: Close to the convention center. Close to all attractions and eateries on I drive. Close to coast and Cape Canaveral (45 min). Great pools.
We really enjoyed our stay. The three pools were the main incentive in booking. Kids tended to obstruct the lazy river pool with empty inflatables. My pillows and/or headboard smelled of BO. Adjusting the thermostat in the room didn't seem to alter the temperature of the room much. The lobby is VERY noisy, but the room was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Resort fees and self-parking added close to $45 per day above what I paid on Travelocity.

Beautiful location. Disappointing Hotel.

Pros: My son seemed to have enjoy the pool and slide.
Cons: Rooms should be a bit more spacious and there should be Air Refreshners in each room.
Location: Location was great and there was plenty of things to do. Wet N Wild park, Seaworld, Aquatica, Magical Midway, Walt Disney World etc.
Firstly let me start by saying this hotel is conveniently located next to great restaurants and attractions. Went there with my family to celebrate my son's 7th Birthday. I felt a little disappointed because there were hidden fees which I was unaware of. There was also a problem with our room. The toilet wasn't working properly. Plus the room was so small, hot and smelt horrible. This hotel did not meet my expectations. However the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Hospitality at its best

Visited Orlando and spent nights in a couple different hotels. And by far Hilton was the best. From the staff to amenities it was all first class. Stefan at the front desk was welcoming and was engaging not just with us but our kids. Truly a trip to remember and thank you Hilton for ending our vacation on a high note.

Soak in the Lazy River and visit Shamu at SeaWorld

I chose Hilton Orlando for my personal quick get-away last weekend. All I wanted was a Lazy River and a visit to the killer whales and dolphines at the SeaWorld, and I got both. Hilton Orlando provides fabulous facilities, with a nice and cozy quite pool, lazy river, and some fund pool activities for kids. The fire pits add some warmth to the evenings. There is a nice variety of dinning options. I enjoyed the Bar which provided an interesting menu; the food was a nice and tasty suprise. The SeaWorld shuttle goes three rounds per day, reservation needed. Hilton Orlando does not provide free shuttle to Disney, but they can help you arrange a cab on your own spends. Check-in and out was very effecient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Convention Center is steps away from the Hotel, so that you may see many business people meeting in the lobby, which occationally increase the waiting time and the coffee shop and the restaurants. If I were in Orlando for things other than Disney, Hilton Orlando is a great option for you.
