I booked this hotel specifically for the water park experience, which is the main attraction advertised. Upon arrival, I was told the water park was closed, information that was never clearly communicated during booking. Had I known, I would not have chosen this hotel. What made the experience worse was the manager’s attitude. Instead of showing understanding or attempting to help, he was rude and dismissive, implying that it was my fault for not checking the website calendar. As a paying customer, I expect important closures like this to be clearly disclosed at the time of booking, not blamed on the guest afterward. Poor communication and even worse customer service completely ruined what should have been a fun stay. I would not recommend staying here if the water park is the reason you’re booking, and I suggest confirming everything in advance because staff will not take responsibility.

Enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room was clean and well stocked. My only complaint was, they didn’t have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Aside from that, we had a great experience, and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself is very nice and well maintained. Unfortunately, when I booked through Expedia, it was not disclosed that the waterpark is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. The sole reason for our one-night stay was to use the waterpark before returning to our home state the following morning. Upon discovering the closure, I spoke with the manager and requested a refund so we could stay elsewhere, as this information was not clearly stated at the time of booking. The request was denied, and Expedia was also unable to offer any assistance. The lack of flexibility and customer service was extremely disappointing, especially considering this was only a single-night reservation. While we were offered a $25 credit, it did not come close to resolving the situation, as the waterpark was the primary reason for our stay. Unfortunately, this experience negatively impacted the remainder of our trip. It is especially disappointing because this is a hotel we would have considered staying at again in the future, but the lack of empathy and customer service has resulted in a loss of our business.

The room was not ready when we checked in and we had to wait hours, until almost 6 pm to even get into the room. I am 7 months pregnant and had a full day of traveling and was exhausted and needed to rest. They said the room wasn’t clean. When we finally got in the room, the beds were made but nothing else was clean. There was still trash from the previous guests. The floors were so dirty we couldn’t walk barefoot in the room. The door handle to the bathroom broke off as soon as we opened it. The toilet barely flushed. The cleaning service came the next day and instead of taking our trash, they left all the trash and we somehow found more trash from previous guests including ride bracelets for rides we hadn’t been on. On our second day, we got back from the parks around 4 pm and the room hadn’t been cleaned. They never came to clean at all. There were people running up and down the hallways all night screaming until the early hours of the morning and guests smoking weed in the parking lot. I complained to the front desk about the service and they sent someone to clean the room at 7 pm on our last night. We had been at the parks all day and I needed to rest so we declined. They did not offer any other compensation or money off our final bill. Do NOT stay here. It is a gross place.

Friendly and helpful staff overall on the entire property. Clean and well lit in all areas of the property. Spacious rooms. Lots of great activities for kids and families. Lots of dining options with other places within short walking distance.
