"The single gentleman manning the front desk in the afternoon of 06/11/2026 was uncooperative and would not help with a 10-room order for 20 guests that was verified digitally over email, then on the phone 2 weeks prior, then literally in-person on Sunday the 7th. American Express got involved and called him, where he ignored multiple calls until I stood at the desk and watched the phone ring, while the agent said "I've been trying nonstop" while on speakerphone. Then he told the American Express agent whatever he needed to get her off the phone, and proceeded to ignore additional calls, and lie to me that "I haven't heard the phone ring at all." This individual basically told me there was nothing he could do and no one he could call, and despite me showing him 10 separate reservation numbers, he acted like I might as well have been a liar. I was shorted rooms and also given less than stellar locations split among multiple buildings. I'll be doing my best to dispute as much of the transaction as possible, as hospitality establishments boasting an 8.6 rating on South Beach and calling themselves a "4-star establishment" don't deserve our money if the staff refuse to provide any service whatsoever."
