Miami Beach, Florida, lies on an island off the east coast of Miami proper, and it has been one of the most popular vacation destinations in the U.S. for decades. Miami Beach first became a town in 1915 and it seems to have been attracting tourists ever since, with its beautiful stretches of beaches, palm trees, and wonderful weather. There are plenty of great hotels in Miami Beach too—once you've checked in, you may never want to leave!
Miami International Airport is 12 miles to the west of town, and the No. 150 bus runs regularly from the Airport Metrorail Station to Miami Beach. You can also rent a car or hail a taxi at the airport terminal. If you don't hire some wheels straight away, but want to explore the area later, check out Miami Beach rental cars. The best-known and most popular district of Miami Beach is South Beach: In addition to the beach itself, you'll find some splendid architecture in the art deco-style Historic District, and indulge in retail therapy at the shops along Ocean Drive. The area is absolutely packed with accommodations, including many upmarket beachfront hotels. There are also plenty of cheap hotels in Miami Beach, so you'll have a great time no matter your budget. When you want to swap the white sand for some green grass, South Pointe Park at the tip of Miami Beach is a great place to chill out and take in the views of the Miami skyline. South Beach is party central, but to check out the rest of Miami's scene, head to the Wynwood or Downtown areas. Additionally, lots of Miami hotels have their own bars, often with live music or a DJ providing the entertainment.

Very modern, glamorous! Pool lounge area very crowded and noisy Gelato store- poorly organized for moving through and paying
Our stay at this Berkley has caused us to now be bias and refuse to stay anywhere else when in South Beach!!! Me and my two girlfriends had the most amazing time, greatly due to the hotel staff who were able to provide information and support to every question or concern we had. For starters all staff were friendly, smiled and genuinely wanted to be of assistance. The hotel delivers when it comes to the décor and cleanliness--what you see in the advertisement is exactly what you get. From the staff in the hotel lobby opening packages for us to the security guard seeking to keep my and my friends safe after returning to the hotel at 5:30am after a night of partying and still wanting late night/earlier morning drunk food----this guard went above and beyond to help us get pizza and ensure we were safely returned home to our loved ones. This place is everything you want and even NEED when traveling to a city that never sleeps. The hotel is in walking distance of so many places. I could just go on and on raving about the wonderful experience we had at this hotel. I am booking my next trip in June call Eric D. he's amazing too. Oh, and the Italian Restaurant "Filia" which means the Sunshine as I learned from Cruise who is an excellent waiter there and VY she is also great---is a part of this establishment. The food tastes great and is beautifully plated. The Bellman was Johnnie on the spot and even humorous with one of my girlfriends who is particular about her luggage.
The place is new and clean. Nice and quiet. As described. The front desk is not available 24 hours.
