Another lackluster weekend

I usually don't complain but I've been to fountainebleu 3 times and it seems like I get the same room everytime, the refrigerator had mold in it and was dirty and did not chill my food or drinks i had to throw everything out, the shower wall tiles looked grimey and dirty as if housekeeping only spot checked when they cleaned up, cabinet glasses were dirty i had to rewash before using them, the bed sheets weren't professionally tucked or spreaded which in turn made it look like a motel room instead of a 800 something a night hotel room. That's all i can think of for now. I'm normally not a complainer at all but it just doesn't seem like businesses care much about customer service anymore these days. I hope things get better 🙏

I have stayed numerous times in the past and was amazing. Now the rooms are old, the restaurants have exaggerated wine prices, a really long wait to check in. More than 45 minutes in line after a long flight. The only positive is the bakery. Is amazing and do not be discourage by the long lines. The staff has a good system to get your order fast.

Would Not Recommend - Dated & Rude Staff

This hotel seems like it has seen better days and is in need of a refresh. While the location was fantastic, I was unimpressed given the price. We had multiple rude encounters with the staff (at the spa, restaurant, concierge, and front desk). It generally seemed like the staff was either uninformed or didn't care. The spa was underwhelming and didn't feel very clean. The towel shelves were empty and weren't replaced over the 3 hour duration we spent in the facility, no slippers were offered, and when inquiring about a hair dryer- we were rudely met with, "it has been put up for the day." The worst part of my experience was check out. I had a late check out at noon, and my keys stopped working at 11. After a 30 minute trek (and waiting in line) at the front desk to renew the keys, I was told I needed to vacate the property by 1:00pm sharp, as the hotel was rented for a private event. This had not been disclosed, and in fact- I asked about using the refresh room after a day at the beach and was met with "absolutely!, so I planned on that. Having a late evening flight, I suddenly had nowhere to go. Had I known, I would have made other accommodations. I asked why this was not disclosed when booking and was met with a shrug and eye roll. I wouldn't recommend this resort and I won't be staying here again.

STOP! STOP! STOP! Think again about this hotel. Quite the worst stay we’ve ever had. A lovely location but it stops there. Don’t be fooled by the polished entrance but take a look at the sold out conference facilities and figure that you’ll never be able to use the bar, sit in the foyer or find a seat at the pool. The pool areas are crammed with day guests. Surly Cabana Boys throw you out of Cabanas before asking if you’d like to rent one for the same price as you paid for your room. Bar drinks are poor. Served in plastic cups whether inside or out. Restaurants have hyped prices for both food and beverages. Broken items in rooms. Mini bar items not replaced from previous guests so you have to argue your innocence before you are charged a small fortune for someone else’s liking for gummy bears. The maid left the rags that she used to clean the toilet on top of my open wash bag. Didn’t clean the bath tub, the shelves or floor. The fridge froze 3 bottles of champagne which ruined them. It took 2 days to speak to a manager who promised to resolve all our issues but by the time we checked out a day later, nothing had been sorted. Reception told us it was tough. They couldn’t muster anyone to speak to us. The hotel lives off the reputation from the times when the likes of Frank Sinatra stayed. From the photos it looks like he had a great time - it’s time to look after your current customers. We have 4 more trips to Miami to take. None will be at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Did not like this property. Interior halls were beat up. My kids were told the pools were closed as they watched people in the pool until after 11pm from our room window. Definitely NOT a family style place to stay. More accomidations for the younger crowds. Wanted a refrigerator for our beverages and food but instead got a stocked refrigerator with no room for anything the guest might want to keep cold

Pro -Fun to look at the yachts across the street. On the ocean, with beach chairs and food beverage service. Great service at salon and restaurants. We forgot a few things for our cruise, and found CVS within walking distance. Con - If the view matters to you, be careful about the building and category. I paid for a Jr. Suite, ocean-view room in Sorrento. I was assigned a 3rd floor room, that mostly looked at a wall, the roof of a building, lots of trees and the pool; very little ocean in the view. When I complained, they told me that I would have to pay for an upgrade to an ocean front room, if I wanted a view of the ocean.

Dining was extremely expensive, and the food quality was below average. We would recommend that no one should use the water bottles in the room. A water bottle costs $12. Not worth it.
