We stayed at the Hyatt for 4 nights and were disappointed. The pool was closed without any notice during booking. Hotel rooms were outdated and our room did not even have a fridge. Our hotel balcony was taped shut so we could not enjoy the Miami city views. We were woken up multiple times due to hearing our neighbors next door conversing - the walls must be paper thin. Would consider staying there again but no longer than 1 night.

"Enjoyable Stay"
I enjoyed my recent stay at Epic. The staff was excellent from top to Bottom. The room was luxurious. The location was also excellent. You sit right on the water with additional views of downtown. You are a short walk to local restaurants, the riverwalk, and plenty of shopping. With that said, it is in the middle of the downtown and several businesses. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

"Luxurious hotel, rude staff"
The Viceroy is, without a doubt, a posh hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, and the attention to detail and amenities were stunning. But for all the luxury, the staff was rude and unhelpful. For example, we went up to the rooftop pool to swim but found no towels and no attendant. My husband ran back down to the room to grab some and upon exiting, a staff member stopped and told him he could not bring the towels to the pool. My husband explained there were none and no attendant. The staff member told him there had to be someone on duty, but he would send someone to check. No one came. We asked three staff members to send someone up to the pool area. In the end, we dripped our way back to the room—and ended up using the room towels after we ruined the floors! Also word of advice, it won't save you a dime to go up to the restaurant rather than order room service. The view is beautiful and the food is good, but breakfast was $75 and we waited over 30 minutes for our check while watching the wait staff chat. Perhaps no one in Miami is concerned with schedules or follow-ups. I would stay at this hotel again, but I won't count on good service.

    Port of Miami Hotels

If you are seeking vibrancy with a culture and luxury, then Miami is where you need to be. Located on the southeastern tip of Florida, Miami is where you will find white sand, colorful art deco, and restaurants with a flavorful Cuban flair. If you think you can't find cheap Miami hotels, think again.

    Port of Miami

Within Miami-Dade county is the Port of Miami, which is considered the "Crusie Capital of the World." This very port takes in more cruise passengers than any other in the world. Of course, you don't have to take a cruise. You can stay in one of many Port of Miami hotels that will keep you close to everything that you need, whether that's food, drinks, or outdoor activities.

Visit South Beach, which offers sandy shores and a non-stop nightlife that is not to be missed. You can also head to Baytown Marketplace, which is only one mile away from the Port and has two levels of shopping and dining. Families can also take in a day of fun by going to Jungle Island, which has the only trained Cassowary in the world—an exotic flightless bird. If you are lucky enough to visit during November through early January, you'll also get to see Jungle Island's famous Winter Wonderland. Don't think you can find a nice, affordable hotel close to the Port of Miami? Well, you would be surprised.
