My room was moldy and damp. I notified the front desk and they told me there were no more rooms available. Upon checkout I asked for the manager and he asked me why I didn’t inform him the next morning. I informed him of what I was told the night before and he stated it was “common sense” to ask for another room.
I would think it’s common sense not to put hotel guests who spend $300-$400 per day to be there in a moldy room. There was mold on the blinds, ceiling corners, walls, bedding and condensation would build up on furniture.
The manager said there was nothing that he could do other than to offer late checkout.. let’s go back to this “common sense” thing… why would one stay longer in a room that has complaints of health hazards?
If relaxation is what you strive for, this hotel is not it. Parking (even with valet is stressful), music is loud but luckily there is a noise ordinance in place. And most of all the rooms do not look like the pictures and they need to do maintenance on building 3 majorly. Second floor is hot and moldy
