Great Service, Great Rooms, Great Location

This was our first stay at the Elser in Miami, and it was impressive. The hotel itself is modern, has great security with people at every door, and data entry to your floor and room via your keycard. Rooms while small include a full size washer and dryer, full size refrigerator, and full size stove. Although a bit on the pricy side, the perks that come with a stay are a draw: beach use, fitness facilities including daily yoga classes. The proximity to an excellent choice of restaurants is also a draw. Parking at $75.00 is steep, but then Miami prices are also.

The elevator system is amazing! Very easy and efficient. The gym was also outstanding!!! The check-in process was very poor. I arrived at 3:29 p.m., and they told me I had to wait until 4:00 p.m. or PAY for an upgrade.

Hotel was very good. We received a free upgrade to a suite and a free drink while waiting to check in. Pool area was very nice. Good location across street from Bayside Marketplace. Only bad thing was the time they cleaned the room and did not give us any toilet paper at all. Nothing on toilet paper holder and none in drawer where they had the extra paper when we checked in. Also did not give us hand towels which were there at check in. I called to ask for them to bring toilet paper and towels. Worker who brought them was not friendly, looked unhappy, and did not say anything. All other staff were nice and friendly.
