Unfortunate Decline
We stayed at this property two years ago and it was terrific. This time, it was a huge disappointment.We stayed for 12 days. We were given two bath towels: mismatched, threadbare and stained. We were given one set of sheets: with dried blood stains. The bathroom mats were torn.The bathroom fan did not work. The bathroom was not CLEAN (there were hairs that clearly did not belong to us). The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were soooooo cheap that they looked like they were bought on the street (not even a 99 cent store) - disgusting. There were two ant invasions (which were eventually fixed).We have stayed at MANY vrbos over many years and this is the first negative review that I can remember writing. After about a week there, I texted the host and reported many of the problems. I said that I would not write a review but I was extremely upset and disappointed. The host immediately responded that the problems would be fixed. Never heard from the host again until we left and they kept asking us to write a review. Clearly AI. I am, therefore, doing what they have requested: writing a review.It's really too bad because the apartment is located in a perfect spot and is safe. Clearly, they are trying to save money and no longer care about their investment. A real shame.
