I feel they treat Travelocity customers as 3rd class. People who were checking in after our arrival got rooms immediately. Those arriving after us, but waiting, got a room before we did. One room didn't get fresh towels after the 2nd day ... No bananas in the breakfast area for 2 consecutive mornings. The hotel rooms were quiet ... but overall not a great experience.

First time staying at Hilton HomeSuites but have stayed at several other Hilton hotels. This one is average. Nothing special. We chose this hotel because it comes with complementary breakfast but the food wasn’t good at all. We ended up eating breakfast elsewhere. The staff is friendly. Pool area is not appealing and very small. No hot tub. No bar. The gym area is average. Overall it did its job but will not stay here again.

I've been to other Hotels in NOLA in the past. But Homewood is better then the others. The rooms in my suite was very nice. Had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. I will be coming back next year and will be staying at Homewood Suites forsure. Excellent

We stayed in what was a studio king bed. The room was very spacious. It had a small kitchen, table, couch and large TV that could be moved so it could be watched in bed or on the couch. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Can’t say much for the breakfast. Just eggs, bagels and muffins and weren’t kept full. Very convenient to everything.

The staff were friendly and very helpful but they are struggling with not enough resources for a rundown property. Carpets are faded and everything just looks tired. Service is friendly bit it's obvious that there are issues. Bed linens were stained and snagged. We asked for an extra sheet for the pull-out sofa. They brought three - one wasn't clean. The fitted sheet on the king bed kept slipping off the bed because the elastic was worn out. I asked for new bedding but they were out of fitted sheets. They sent a flat sheet. The "blanket" looked like a dust ruffle or old bedspread with a snagged coverlet for a topper. We asked for an extra blanket but were again told they thought they were out. Very disappointing. We didn't realize housekeeping was only every other day. That's fine, but somehow they skipped our room. Since we left the next morning, I just asked for fresh bedding and made the bed myself. We were only given three towels for two people, so the towel situation did get a little rough but it was fine. I will say the location was fabulous. You're minutes from Canal Street and the French Quarter. It's safe and walkable. Our biggest complaint is that we often stay at Homewood Suites and the quality was not what we expect. We weren't alone. When we checked in, a gentleman was on the phone requesting (and receiving) a refund for his stay. Again, the staff were great, the issue is with an under-resourced property. We'll stay elsewhere on our next trip.
