Old world style hotel with character

Pros: I liked the fact that it had an old hotel feel, and yet was very comfortable.
Cons: Bathroom fixtures could be updated, but were acceptable.
Location: Location was great: very close to Bourbon Street but far enough away to be quiet. Everything else about the French Quarter is very close.
This is a "French" style hotel with a lot of European character -- small lobby, older style furnishings, which means it does not have the modern luxury amenities of a new big company hotel. For me, that was fine. The beds were very comfortable, which is very important. The bathroom was a bit old style, but had everything you need. There is no pool or exercise room, but the French Quarter is all around you.

Hi Meli, thank you for sharing your feedback about your stay. We love seeing guest photos! We hope to welcome you back to our hotel near Bourbon Street soon.

Pros: We both loved the location. We love the French Quarter, and so being in the middle of it all was a great experience.
Cons: Some of the bathroom fixtures (i.e., the shower) seemed a little out dated but otherwise, nothing.
Location: As I said before, you're a block away from Bourbon Street and walking distance from Decatur or Canal.
My husband and I decided last minute to go on a trip to New Orleans for a honeymoon. We found the Prince Conti Hotel, and honestly booked it for the lower price. We were not disappointed at all. The hotel is literally a block away from Bourbon Street and within walking distance from either Decatur or Canal street depending on what you're looking for.

Quite hotel

Nice hotel close to Bourbon Street yet far enough away from the noise of it all.Our deluxe double room was nice but small bathroom.Stayed on the third floor so was away from lots of noise from the street and no noise from any floor above us as the hotel only has three floors.

Great location, good price but rooms need work!

Great location for the price, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny, only complaint is no real bedding, rooms are dated and the room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke! Staff was very nice and accommodating, overall for the price not a bad deal.

Wonderful hotel with a fantastic staff

Pros: Absolutely everything!
Cons: Absolutely nothing..
Location: A half a block from Bourbon Street and you want to know what there is to do???
From the minute we pulled up to the hotel, we were so impressed with the staff. We were greeted like long, lost friends by the valet and the desk clerk, Ava. Both of them made us feel so welcome. The room was absolutely spotless with extra towels and a really comfortable bed. We couldn't have been more pleased and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who is going to New Orleans and wants a feel for the genuine old buildings in the city. Just a half a block from Bourbon Street...and absolutely wonderful.

Two blocks off Bourbon Street, great location

Pros: Valet car service, comfortable room, very clean, right in the French Quarter
Cons: Nothing noted during our stay.
Location: Jackson Square, Café du Monde, music, great architecture (French Quarter was built before the levies so that area did not flood), shopping galore.
We walked and saw everything we wanted to see. The hotel was very clean and kept up well. Very nicely decorated to reflect an earlier time. Loved that they took care of parking the car for us (didn't see that extra charge listed on the site), it was worth every penny to not have to deal with it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not really part of the bar crowd and it was nice being just half a block or so from that crowd. Loved seeing the architecture in the city.
