Beautiful location near so much, Trolley, strip, Canal street, French quarter. 2 - 5 minutes from mostly everything. Down side are the parking fees ($45 per day for self park, $58 Valet) $30 daily resort fee but offset for food and drink credit. Bill and The doormen are excellent!! 2 thumbs up to the entire staff.

The entire staff at the Westin was amazing during my stay. They tried to make me feel very special with their attention and details. They looked for options for tours, where to dine and see historical places. The food at the hotel is delicious with its local Cajun and Creole touch. The hotel is extremely elegant with a privileged view of the Mississippi River.

My daughter and I did not leave the hotel after arriving due to safety concerns but there is an upscale mall right in the building. We did feel very safe once we were in the hotel and the staff was all very nice. Valet was quick and friendly. Small bites at night with one drink provided. Beds very comfortable. View of the city and bay was really great. Overall a great place to stay if you're looking to be French Quarter NOLA
