The Staff was beyond friendly and professional. From the moment we walked in it felt very welcoming. I come to new orleans a lot , this was my first time staying here and it wont be my last. I highly recommend, the value is beyond what you pay. Its located literally around the corner from Bourbon street so you centrally located near shops, restaurants and some attractions.

Old hotel. Most of the staff was excellent. Check-in time is 4pm but it was close to 5:30 before we could get into our room. Needs new mattresses, towels, toilets (really low), tub had porcelain chips, rust and faucet never stopped dripping. Ice machine broken on 2 floors.

Choose a city view room, but my view was a brick wall. No tissue in the bathroom when arrived and they upcharged the bill. This hotel is a scam. Great location but not worth it. Valet took 25 minutes to retrieve my car at 6 in the morning. Valet was $49 per day )way too much) and they charged me $59 a day on my bill! Scammers at Crowne Plaza. Watch your receipt!

Crown plaza is in a great location but not worth the price. The room was outdated, no tissue was in the room when we arrived, the shower did not get hot and the tub took 20 mins to drain when showering. Valet was $49 per day and took over 25 minutes to retrieve our car. We will definitely go back to N.O. but we will not be staying at the Crown Plaza.

The lobby area is amazing but the rooms need updating. It gives very spooky rooms. The TV is seriously small. The lobby gave a different view from what the actual rooms look like. The beds were extremely hard.

Properties location was ideal for catching public transit and walking the french quarter. Staff was extremely friendly but the front desk seems to be in a constant state of constant state of confusion. The Travelocity rate does not match what the hotel charges, or the fact they want a 60 dollar a night incidental hold. I still dont have my rate straightened out after multiple trips to the front desk. I am now home trying to straighten it out.

I wish the pool was open longer. After walking around in the heat a dip before bed would have been nice.

Not worth the money.....RUUNNNNNN!

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were placed in the Alexa Tower, which is clearly overdue for a makeover. The tower was old, unclean, and outdated. Although we initially inspected the bed and didn’t notice anything, we later discovered bugs, not bed bugs, but wood bugs. Regardless, bugs are bugs. The room itself was dirty, with beads and leftover food found on the floor. We were moved to a more updated room on the opposite side of the hotel, which was an improvement in appearance, but we encountered another issue, our TV kept turning on and off, changing channels, and adjusting the volume on its own. Additionally, the hotel bar closes too early, which was disappointing. The only real positive was the location, which was perfect and convenient. Unfortunately, that alone wasn’t enough to make up for the overall poor experience.

Good location.

Great location for access to everything, a little loud at night but bearable. Great if you want to get away from down town and walk to midtown or grab a tram.
