"We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Pfister. This is a historic hotel and the public spaces are really magnificent. It is a great experience to sit in the lobby and have a drink or just wander around. Our room was clean enough but felt dated…it could have used a refresh. It certainly did not feel as special as the public spaces of the hotel. The hotel’s cafe was very good—very retro feeling, but service was attentive and efficient and the food was quite tasty. The pool didn’t look as nice in person as in the photos…we didn’t try it. All in all, we had a very good stay."

"The beds are nice and comfy. My room was clean no issues. The bathroom was a little dingy, but we just wiped it down and got it right outside. Pool was not working. Indoor pool was OK. Still very dirty tile and dirty towels. Everywhere cleanliness can be up in this place, especially for the price of a room outside grounds were really dirty. Seen Chick-fil-A cups everywhere garbage everywhere they need to pay attention to that as well, front desk was amazing. Great people again only complaint was just upkeep."

"From check in to check out, the staff at the property were super courteous, helpful and just plain nice to talk to! My room was comfortable, had plenty of pillows and the temperature controls were easy to operate (I like it COLD). The parking garage shares an entrance to the hotel, which was perfect. The room was quiet, the shower head had good pressure and the elevators were quick (we were on the 10th floor). The is a Starbuck's in the lobby, which was great for a no-fuss morning nosh. I will definitely stay here again, as I plan to make this my primary hotel while on business in Milwaukee."
