Spa was not in service. Furniture was run down. Our room abutted an alley in which dumpsters were being moved throughout the night.

great location

Within walking distance of great restaurants, museums and the lake front. Staff went out of their way to answer questions and making sure I had a great experience. Restaurant dinner meal was delicious. Server very helpful and knew menu well.

Older hotel, but very cool. Very odd set up with the front desk down the a few stairs from the elevators--hard to deal with wheeling heavy luggage.

Classy Hotel with Art Deco Vibe

Pros: Clever and thoughtful division of the seating area from the bed.
Location: Walking distance to the beautiful Milwaukee Art Museum, River Walk, Waters Street and great restaurants.
Every convenience imaginable: Soaking tub with bath salts; bathrobe; luxury soaps; pristine linens; desk & seating area. All thoughtfully incorporated in historical decor with original art work.
