The staff was absolutely amazing. My cleaning lady lucemy was absolutely amazing. I was in room 2005A. Shout out to the bartenders Antonio, Jose, Claudio, Eduardo. They made the experience amazing. The hospitality was absolutely amazing. 👨‍🍳 Chef william worked extremely hard everymorning to make our breakfast perfect 👌.
Literally the best. Extremely hardworking and always had a smile on his face.

The shower had black mold. Was not and has not been cleaned properly. I did try to rinse walls from glass where mold was and wash as much down drain. As well some days maid would come other days we would need to call for service. Same goes for bar service in room some days they would come other days we would need to ask. We found food was not good. We did have some days meals were better than others. This is not the standards of a Dreams property. Resort suggested we use Amstar for private pick up and return to airport. Well the pick up no one had our names down for us. Many people did try to help us and finally someone directed us to pole 43. No apology or anything after looking for transportation for almost 40 minutes we left airport. Same thing on departure days says driver has arrived but he did not arrive. The Amstar guy on location was very helpful and did find us another ride as fast as

This hotel is not a 5star hotel. Staff was good but unfortunately the whole experience is barely a 3.5 star! And we were Preferred Club. I could no imagine not being in it. Food in the reservation restaurants was very good! But it was super hard to get reservations. Buffet was terrible for any of the meals. Hard to have a good breakfast with the whole family.The Bluewater (Rooftop Preferred Club restaurant) was the only good option for breakfast and lunch however they don’t allow kids so that was useless for us. Food around the pool was terrible. A couple of restaurants were closed. Drinks were NOT from a 5 star category. Room house keeping service was NOT a 5 star category. There were days that by around 4 pm they had not cleaned our room yet. So we wanted to relax with the kids before going to dinner and the room was not ready yet. A lot of situations that was not smooth and not relaxing as a 5 star AT ALL!!!!

The room was great, the food was good. But despite high price and paying for the preferred VIP package there was a push for upselling dinner meals, excursions, and day beds. We tried room service twice and both times the order was wrong and took 1.5 to 2 hours so we didn’t try after that. The kids club and kids park was amazing the staff was good for that. But for the high price and understaffing, I would choose a different hotel/resort next time

This property is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Without traffic about a 30min drive from airport. The rooms were very spacious and clean with large balconies. Room views area beautiful and all face south. So many restaurants and drink bars/lounges to choose from. The preferred club is a nice perk! Rooftop access plus better quality drinks and dinning options. Most staff members were very friendly throughout stay. However, asking for any accommodations were not received well when dining. (Example: Restaurant seating preference when restaurants are nearly empty). Staff should learn to meets guest needs without attitudes. If your going for ocean blue water beach experience this location is not desirable. Water is full of seagrass and is green in color vs ocean blue. Definitely a rooftop pool or ground level pool experience hotel. This hotel is kid friendly! I actually enjoyed being around responsible adults vs adult only hotels with alcohol fueled, loud and overly obnoxious adults. Will I return again, absolutely!

The staff was excellent. Moises at vista taco was amazing The only downfall was my room had no hot water the whole trip! Called for service they came got fixed but after they left no hot water. Called again and they never showed up. Otherwise the trip was awesome.

I start by saying we have been to Cancun six times so we have a pretty accurate feel as compared to other areas. We have have stayed at another Dreams location and this was a very disappointing experience as compared to the other facilities. The good. Nightly activities were very entertaining especially the fire show. The fact that the family room was two adjoining rooms with a door gave much needed privacy. The view from the room was amazing. I am not sure there could be a bad view from the location as most overlooked the ocean. The rooms were very modern and clean. The staff that cleaned the rooms did a phenomenal job. I don’t think we have ever had a nighty turn down service but it was also a very nice touch. The food at the reservation locations was overall pretty good. We visited the coffee shop daily. Was a nice touch that it was included in the package. The pool food restaurant and bar were also convenient and tasty. The bad. I was angered daily by the preferred club option. Why should I pay an up charge for beach views, and almost any amenity? The buffet food option was just sub par food and slow service with little variety. Only one included pool. The beach was not good. Smelly, small, and limited seating. Don’t be deceived by 6 restaurants. You get 3 included and the buffet. This location also does not have blue water. The day activities were laughable. Spend a little extra and go to the Fives in Playa Del Carmen for great food, pools, beach

The buffet wasn’t the best but the restaurant options were great! The Vista Prime Steakhouse was awesome for dinner and the Bluewater Grill was good for breakfast with a view. The coffee shop was on point and the staff made the stay super fun!

Overall my stay at Dreams was a nice one, the rooms were standard but the staff were amazing. They were very accommodating and fun. My spa was out of this world relaxing and needed. I’m coming back to dreams. The food options were delicious especially the Asian cuisine.
