We appreciate that the property owner made the effort to make this place ready for a nice stay, so let's start with the positives. We liked the fact that it's a gated community, and there was an access card on the keyring for the pool, gym etc, but we didn't use those facilities as we were out on the road all the time or had friends over for dinner. The TVs are modern smart TVs and the Internet/Wi-Fi is fast. I don't mind paying good money for good accomodations, but here are the things we were not happy with, especially when you take into considerationwhat we paid. The front door has to be locked with the key, both from the inside and outside. When I woke up early to go get breakfast for the family, I had to lock them inside. Had a fire broken out, they would have been trapped inside as I had the only key. Honestly, I'm not even sure if that design is legal per the fire code, its a disaster waiting to happen in my opinion. The master bathtub was visibly dirty and needs a good scrubbing. The black towels that are constantly shedding didn't go down well with us, so we ran to Costco and got some nice cotton towels. The towels and sheets reeked of a very powerful laundry detergent whose smell was so strong it was overwhelming. I strongly recommend a fragrance free laundry detergent. The oven didn't have a tray, so we had to borrow one from our dinner guests. Overall I give this place 4 stars, but it could do with a few improvements.
