started out rocky but nice stay overall

Hotel was nice, but we didn't realize Caesars Harrah's was different than Caesars. We told our shuttle to take us to Caesars, so we walk up to the hotel check-in desk with all of our luggage (2nd leg of a longer trip). The girl at the desk says "oh, your reservation is across the street at Harrah's but we have availability here if you want. We were exhausted from travelling so we just said ok and accepted the upcharge. I wish the original reservation was more clear. Anyway, hotel was nice, bed was comfortable. There was an issue down in the casino...full of smoke and fire alarm started blasting to evacuate. Luckily it was just a maintenance issue and resolved quickly.

The new Caesar's building in New Orleans is much nicer than I expected! The service was fantastic, Meril's Brasserie was great, and the casino made forget that I wasn't in Las Vegas for a minute.

Property lobby, entrance and casino area was decent. Rooms were tiny and furnished very cheaply. Lots of machines were broken in the casino and the outdoor gaming areas feel like you are playing in an alleyway or a closet. The most disappointing part of this hotel was the customer service. The workers have attitudes and are downright rude. Only nice employees we encountered were the valets. But, I don't suggest doing valet as they charge 65.00 per day. We had to because my husband has a bad knee and couldn't park across the street in the parking garage and walk. We will NEVER be back here again.

The property was beautiful but very old the rooms were dusty.. and the toilets and tubs were not clean. They charge $20 a night for resort fees but its not a resort... the staff was nice and very accommodating. After cleaning my own room the stay was very comfortable, but i would rather stay in a redroof inn and save money..

Great Trip! Room was very nice and bed very, very comfy! Very quick walk to the Casino where we had lots of fun! Stayed up way too late lol. And we got the free parking through Caesar Rewards! And walking distance for a nice stroll through the French Quarter!
