Stayed in Hotel instead. Multiple issues. UPDATE at Bottom
Brand new mgmt/owners. Looked pretty, with multiple issues. The key code didn’t work due to two units #1 at the same address. 1st unit was completely under construction & didn’t even have a bed. Vacasa couldn’t get the code to work. Left and stayed in a hotel. They assured us they reprogrammed the code and it would work. We came back around 5 pm wanting to relax after driving all day looking at the area properties. No remote control in the room, no Wi-Fi network to watch Netflix on our tablet or devices, and no toilet paper. The maintenance man gave us the code to get into another unit to get the remote and the TV had never been set up initially and the remote wouldn’t work on the TV. He told us we could just go upstairs (repack our stuff) and stay there. We get all comfy and ready to relax and the heat/ac unit doesn’t work at all. Won’t come on at all. Every manager we spoke with this weekend just keeps passing the buck like their hands are tied. In the meantime, we have spent money for VRBO and at a hotel for the same time period not considering the countless text & phone calls and hold time during our short 2-day trip to TN. This experience made us feel like we can’t trust the reviews because this property obviously doesn’t have the kinks worked out yet. UPDATE: Vacasa ended up giving us a partial refund covering the majority of their rental. It in no way replaced the TIME and ENERGY we wasted this weekend dealing with their neglect nor replaced our time of relaxation.
