Great place to stay. Very clean and updated. Friendly staff. Good full breakfast buffet. Free popcorn, cookies and hot chocolate every evening. Beautiful riverside view (request riverside room with balcony). Large, beautiful fire pit with plenty of seating. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Nice, large shower (no tub).

The property was beautiful and the facility was kept clean. Very welcoming! A family feel or bread and breakfast feel at a hotel. They have a fire pit. They light every evening. They pop, popcorn and make cookies for the guests in the evenings. They are very wildlife conscious . They check in on their guests to make sure that housekeeping is up to par. And the hotel staff are very knowledgeable about the area and able to give great suggestions. And a shout out to Sayra, she just made our stay as close to perfect as possible! She is super friendly and always has a great attitude! We will definitely stay there again!

Home away from Home

This was our first time staying here and it exceeded all of my expectations. We really needed this trip. The staff was really nice. The man that was at the front desk was very clean cut, professional and spoke so eloquently. The popcorn was popping, cookies baked, it just felt like home. The only thing I wish we would have done was get the cart and load it up, prior to parking because our room was so close to the lobby☝. I also wish we would have gotten here earlier however there was so much traffic due to the car show. The breakfast was great and the scenery is beautiful. We will be back!!

I was very impressed by The Inn on the River. I stayed a couple of nights here while visiting Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. The hotel is conveniently located, the facilities and rooms are very good and everything was immaculately clean, most importantly the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, and it is nice to return to the real fire roaring in the lobby when you’re getting in late! I would happily stay here again and I would recommend it.

This was our second stay at The Inn on the River, and we will definitely be back. Having been going to Pigeon Forge for 25 years and staying in various places, we can say The Inn on the River makes you feel like family and as if you're at home. From the breakfast, cookies and popcorn to the rooms themselves, it was another great stay. Even though the geese outside our room loved honking 24/7, we adapted to them as they did to us. Love the location along the river and walkability to nearby shops and restaurants. Additionally, as I had to work some while there, loved being able to work in the room or inside the glass patio type room with ease. Great place!

Clean, affordable, awesome breakfast buffet, friendly staff, convenient location. The lobby and patios are great for evening visits with friends. It's also next to the river. Restaurants, shopping, and attractions are close by, some within walking distance. Great place to stay!
