Island Inn has been better in the past .
I stayed in room 320 and it had an odor. First I thought it was mold but I’m highly allergic to mold so it was not mold. It was a musty smell. You would get used to it . Figured it was a busy weekend so did not report until check out. We have stayed there at least 4 times and never had an issue with cleanliness. I do book through a 3rd party and the last 2 stays have been in the room on the end that has all the power lines in front of it. We checked Thursday hoping to not get that this year. So makes me think 3rd party guest do not get best rooms. So a little disappointed. May try and book through hotel next time since I no longer get reward nights . This is not a deal breaker but will make some request before next check in.

You feel relaxed and ready to unwind as soon as you walk in the doors. It’s a really pretty hotel. You don’t want a room facing the main road though because you can hear the traffic unfortunately. Thankfully they let us change rooms immediately to the backside facing the Islands. The breakfast was not as good as we expected from a boutique hotel. They can and should do better. It was pretty much tasteless greasy food. We have had way better breakfast at other hotels.

My stay was wonderful. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The only negative was the bathroom door. It was a barn door and you can see through the crack of the door, which I felt was no true privacy.

Cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in and I travel for a living. The manager is a can do kind of person. We had a parking issue due to a local event and when I casually mentioned it to her she promptly took care of it. No excuses got it done. Refreshing. Everyone there had a great attitude. Reflection of the management.

All front desk staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Property was clean with easy access to the island. We barely had to leave our hotel parking during our whole stay at pigeon forge.
