The space
Welcome to the friendliest and happiest and most beautiful place on earth: East Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains! We are so thriled you are considering staying with us on your vacation travels. We hope you find our East Tennessee home to be the most relaxing and luxurious place you've ever visited.
** This is 2.3 acres of nature sanctuary. It is not 2.3 acres of Biltmore gardens. We do not sculpt shrubbery nor mow every inch of land to 2.5 inches. We encourage natural grasses and flowers and trees to blossom here so our beautiful birds and creatures have a home. There's plenty of play space, but there is also tall grasses, natural flowers and animals.
If you are planning to stay somewhere like Biltmore House, then our property is not for you. We cherish our local wildlife, tall grasses, and local flora and fauna. There are no manicured lawns, animal-shaped shrubbery, or Uber services.
There are bees, flies, mosquitoes, butterflies, roaches, field mice, and more.
We use normal and regular pest control services. Nothing is organic, but our pest control guy assured us what he uses is pet and people safe.
The home is on the riverfront. You cannot stay somewhere you dip your toes in a natural river where animals and fish and frogs and snakes live that you won’t also have mosquitoes, flies, roaches, mice, bears, and more. The two are one
We are a nature preserve. Welcome back to your beginnings **
