My issue the past two times I've stayed here is the temperature of the room. You cant control it from the room itself, its controlled by the staff. It also did not appear that they had the AC on and it was high 70s and 80s outside. I called to request my room temperature be lowered by a few degrees and I dont think they ever followed through. In fact, from the panel in my room it didnt even appear the AC or heat was on at all and the control panel was locked so I couldnt control it myself. This type of thing shouldnt be happening in a semi-luxury hotel.

Great area

Great area. A few walkable restaurants and stores including cvs and Walgreens. Less than 10 mins from Downtown. The food and drinks at both the restaurants in the hotel were great. The food tasted like it was cooked in the kitchen and not warmed up prepackaged food. Although the area had shops and restaurants near by, the hotel was quiet. The views from the rooftop were the cherry on top.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Canopy! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice area to walk around with lots of stores and restaurants. The rooftop bar was great with excellent views. We also liked that the free M trolley stopped right outside the hotel so we used that to get around.

Our overall stay was mediocre. We had to ask three times for the toilet to be fixed, twice for the tv to be fixed. For the price we paid, it wasn’t worth it. It was my first time in Dallas so I didn’t know which area to stay in.
