Cons: Sounds odd, needed instructions on working the television. Using the guide on the tv was frustrating.
Stay was as expected for this type of rated hotel.

Omni visit

Everything at the Omni was spectacular and well worth it. The only issue I ran into were dirty sheets and pillows with stains of some sort and a little blood.

Love this hotel!

The man at the front desk was extremely nice. He asked my daughter if she wanted a high or low room, she said high. He gave us a room on the 19th floor with the best view. The room was absolutely beautiful! The beds were extremely comfortable, the room very quiet & had blackout curtains. The room tv had several channels, more than most hotels. The bathroom has a tv in the mirror! The guests were all obviously relaxed & enjoying their stay. The pool was so pretty & the bar at the pool nice. The only things I did not love is I called room service to order breakfast 1 day & no one answered, & parking is misleading. Travelocity says "self parking available," but that appears to mean you still have to pay to park your car yourself @ $19/night. Overall amazing hotel & I will definitely be back.

Ghetto City

Pros: The sign
Cons: EVERYTHING, especially the wait (automated machine and music) to reach the front desk.
Location: Looks run down by the McDonalds, there aren't many choices to eat at.
I came Thursday on business and intended to Stay until Sunday evening. The room I was given reeked of cigarette smoke and I called for a change of room. When you call downstairs there is a long auto wait (similar to a cable company). Someone finally answered and a concierge was on his way with a new key. While waiting, a hotel manager who happened to pass by and asked questions like am I checking out and kept convoluting what I was saying when I said no, just changing rooms, "oh so you Are checking out of this room and checking into another.." I finally said Yes to get her out of my face. What was her purpose? That evening was a bit noisy but manageable. On Friday around noon, there was a hotel party on my floor, that night the party got louder with older guests around 50 years old acting as if it was spring break. Saturday, there was a loud argument between Caucasian male guests, then a loud fist fight (I called for noise, again waiting) then a domestic dispute. Someone ended up calling the police then it was a hallway full of cops who arrested a yelling young white girl and a shouting and cursing male. Some hotel managers finally came. Another party in the hotel was that night. Early Sunday am (around 2am) I decided I'd had it and went to check out. On my way to the front desk, off the elevator, was a girl puking in the trash can with two guys holding her hair. I thought this was a classy place and paid A LOT MORE to come here versus others. Upon checkout I got a "sorry."

The rooms and amenities were amazing.

I travel for work and usually stay at Marriott or Westin hotels. Well not anymore I will always check for Omni. The rooms were great spacious and comfortable. I ordered room service and had dinner with clients in the restaurants both were great. The staff is amazing. At a breakfast meeting I wasn't eating because I was working our waiter brought me fresh hot coffee when it got cold and offered to reheat my breakfast so I could enjoy it. Definitely top notch.
