Close to many attractions we were interested in

We were on the 19th floor. And when we got there it just seemed a little claustrophobic, the floors were little dingy. When we got into a room it was pretty satisfactory, it was pretty clean overall. The bathroom could have been a little bit better laid out it was kind of hard to get in and out of. The beds were pretty comfy. There are no trash can Liners in the trash cans so somebody must have forgot to do their job. But overall it was pretty great the staff was pretty nice in the attached parking was quite convenient though a little expensive.

Excellent location, hotel was a bit run down, food from buffet was old and not very good.

Great Pictures...Don’t be fooled!

This hotel has some great photos but it is not anything like them. The room smelled bad. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the shower would not drain. I did not contact the hotel staff to address luckily we were not in the room very much. The staff was great but I feel like this hotel needs an update.

Worth the Rate

Pros: Location
Cons: In need of renovation
Location: Plenty of restaurants and public transit.
The hotel is older and in need of renovations, and in hindsight the rate is indicative of this. The bathroom door was warped and wouldn't close. Fortunately I was the only one staying there. My room card key had to be reprogrammed several times which was rather inconvenient. I did order room service one night and it was delivered fast and the food was good. Overall I would probably stay here again and the location is great.

Don’t waste your time or money

I had the worst experience of my life at this establishment this last weekend. The hotel is honestly in shambles especially for carrying the name “Crowne Plaza”. AST. Manager named Michael showed extreme immaturity and low to no emotional intelligence as when I was simply inquiring why there was a $100 charge my first night there on my debit card, he couldn’t provide a logical response and resorted to name calling and using profanity in front of his staff at me. If you work for your money and truly want to experience hotel hospitality as it should be please avoid this establishment!!!!t

Sad

Cons: Everything...even the ceiling tiles in the lobby were shabby
Location: Nice location...worth saving instead of tear down
Property needs a COMPLETE RENOVATION!! 1st room was dirty, the water was up to my ankles by the time my shower was finished. Black mold by toilet, heat ac was not working properly, window completely wet...extremely disappointed. We were going to leave after the 1st night but the mamager upgraded us to a suite after I told him about our room. This was better but things were still wrong with the room. Please beware of old hotels with great names from the past...Crowne Plaza used to mean high end accommodations! This really needs an overhaul and not just paint and fixtures!
