The staff at this Resort are fantastic! There is always someone to ask you if you need anything else, checking on you, always on top. Very attentive. The room was incredible. The food choices are fantastic on-site with 5 restaurants to choose from within the resort. The beach is a 10 out o10, clear water, glass smooth and white sand. I would not hesitate recommending this place to anyone looking for an all-inclusive resort in Cancun! Not a single complaint and exceeded my expectations!

I was here for a 9 days family vacation and we had a blast. The property it’s awesome but it does need some TLC.The staff was very nice except the people from Playa. They are the worst. They follow you to try to sell you a timeshare and if you got one at the airport they tell you not to go because it is not safe. All lies, my family of 4 did one at the airport went to it the next day and had the time of our life. When it comes to the price for anything it is very expensive. The last day we had ran out of sunblock and when we went to the store to buy a regular bottle of sunblock was $52 dollars!!!! Insane. The kids club was AMAZING!!! My girls had the best time there. The excursions are also super crazy expensive, so what we did was to rent a car and we drove to all the places we wanted to go. Overall we had an awesome time!!!

Very Friendly and accommodating staff members. It highlighted the excellent service and helpfulness of all staff, at the front desk, bartenders, servers and housekeepers. Clean and well-maintained rooms. Our rooms were clean and tidied daily, with fresh linens and replenished amenities. The stunning beach locations of Sunscape resorts, with clear waters and white and soft sand. Good entertainment and activities for kids and adults. We enjoyed the restaurants especially the breakfast buffet and 24 hrs cafe.

The property didn’t quite meet my expectations—it appeared a bit more dated and worn than the photos suggested. That said, the room itself was clean and comfortable. Some areas could use more attention to cleanliness: the balcony furniture had bird droppings on it, and the same was true for several pool chairs. On the positive side, the staff were excellent overall and really made a difference in the experience. Special shoutout to Luis at the spa for an incredible deep tissue massage, Giovanni at the Mexican restaurant, Edgar at the Italian restaurant, and Benjamin at Azul—the Asian restaurant—all of whom provided outstanding service. Unfortunately, the staff at the Sunset Grille weren’t nearly as friendly or welcoming. The main pool tends to get very crowded, but the poolside service was efficient and attentive. Entertainment at the pool could use an upgrade—better music, a bit more energy, and definitely louder volume would go a long way. The nightly entertainment was also pretty underwhelming, though that may be due to the resort’s more family-friendly vibe. The biggest disappointment for me was the food. I expected bold, flavorful dishes, but overall it fell flat and lacked seasoning and variety. Would I return? Probably not. While the staff was a highlight and truly exceptional in many cases, the overall experience—especially the food, crowded pool areas, and lack of engaging entertainment—just didn’t win me over.
