If looking for fancy resort to sit on beautiful beach, enjoy a panoramic view, and be pampered then this is for you. Room rate was decent value, clean, and comfortable but expect to spend plenty for drinks and food (not sure about activities cost since was there only one night) if you don't venture out. Location is isolated, well away from hotel zone area with more variety and reasonably priced restaurants, shops, and night life. Fortunately getting to and from that section is quite easy and inexpensive if you walk back down to the main road entrance where the local bus stop is close by. Of course, taking a taxi is an option if you prefer. No convenience store in hotel or nearby. Check in staff was intrusive without explanation, not very welcoming, bordering on surly.

The hotel was just beautiful! It has amazing pools and is right on the beach. The staff is very helpful and kind! Their is restaurants at the hotel that offer good options. Our room had a beautiful view of the back pool and beach. Very very wonderful! Definitely would come back. And it is just a short bus ride from the hotel zone and shopping places! Overall, very pleased with our stay!

Cancun Westin

Nearly every day there were minor issues detracting from a perfect stay. Missing coffee, face washers, towels, soap, sheets, etc. Nithing significant but noticeable.

Nice hotel, pretty beach.

Me and myy husband do not get room key (card) after we check in, front desk agent just mentioned because hotel system renewed, therefore there is no room key for us till next day. Each time when we leave our room and come back, we need to ask someone's HELP, that is so ridiculous! In the morning of second day, after we finished breakfast, about 8:30am, we need back to our room and change so we can go to the beach, we feel very frustrated because there is no anyone on duty at that time, NO ONE can OPEN THE ROOM for us!! I spend 1/2 hour to figure it out that we need to take a shuttle car to the main lobby, to find someone there can help us GO BACK TO our own room. I waste 45 minutes to get back to my own, paid hotel room, and it ruin of my whole day. after that, no one say nothing till check out, even one sorry word. I will never get back to this hotel again.

Horrible experience

No cold water for 3 days in a row, only super hot water available everywhere I had to go to the soa to shower with 3 kids and wife, hotel under construction also violating so many safety procedures, elevators not working , smell horrible, everywhere i was tired of that smell, i was flushing the toilet with a bucket, because there was no water in the toilet tank, room key was giving me problem everyday Stay away from his hotel!! Not worth it speacially if you have kids it will be a night mare I expect my refund Travelocity!!!!

Not a Resort

During our stay we were supposed to have all inclusive but both Travelocity and the hotel did not honor that promotion. We were without water during our stay at the hotel as well. It was chaotic! The meals were overpriced and food was the same at all the restauraunts. This is not a resort it's just a regular hotel. It's definitely not 4 stars. However the service was mostly great. Some guys there were just strange to interact with. Being fluent in Spanish they still made us feel uncomfortable. The view of the ocean was spectacular though. Just the hotel is far from everything you just feel stuck there. It's awful. There's nothing to do there. This has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in MX. I will never stay at a Weston or affiliated place. There's a lack of activities and there isn't even any snorkel rental. Other resorts I have been too at least give complimentary snorkeling rental gear. No not this place. Literally we would have to ask 20 people to find something out. Nobody there knew anything about the hotel it was ridiculous the workers there would always misguide us.

Wonderful vacation at Westin

First of all we would like to thanks the staff of Westin resort and spa for making our stay wonderful and memorable. Carlos of front lobby was so helpful. Construction wasnt a big deal hardly hear from our room. Our building is next to the construction site. No dust nor smell. Food service is fast, generous portion and reasonable price. Love the cleanliness of the room everyday. Staff are friendly. Already planning for next year vacation with this resort. 5 family book on this resort and we all love it. Price,location,service,cleanliness,and staff A+++++
