Nice hotel- understaffed for the season. Hotel boasts several restaurants- but all are small with limited capacity and slow service. The food was bland- not at all what one would suspect of a 4.5 star hotel. My normal Cancun hotel chain is the Rui. Paradisus by Melia does not compare either in elegance - or design. The hotel opens to virtually to a center restaurant. The smell is over powering of incense.and oils. The entertainment was average. Not the best stay

The hotel staff is very attentive, helpful and professional. I really enjoyed that aspect and feeling well taken care of. The major complaint I have is that in this entire beautiful resort there is not ONE hot tub available. Not a single jacuzzi on the beach, in the spa, by the pool - no where! This was the biggest disappointment. I find the advertisement of the whirlpool at YHI spa very misleading because they fail to mention that the water is COLD! Who wants to get into a vat of cold bubbling water??!! Nor are any of their swimming pools heated, so one has to contend with very cold temperatures if you want to take a swim. Again, extremely disappointing. The restaurants and food selections were great, and the drinks were awesome. The place is very clean and use of the lush plants all throughout makes for a very beautiful, unique eco-friendly experience. Overall it is a great place to enjoy.

Two Thumbs Up

Pros: All the lobbies in each pyramids were stunning! The spa/water hydration treatment was amazing! I liked having aquaworld across the st for excursions
Cons: FOOD! Just bad...dont know how but it was. However, the chocolate fountain in the royal service lobby is amazing.

Resort was absolutely beautiful. Staff was very nice. Everywhere you went, the hotel smelled so good...even down to the toliet paper! Only thing I was disappointed in was the food. The restaurant by the pool/beach was awesome but the places inside were not. I went with a group of 10 adults and 3 got sick after eating at Vento. Just the overall experience with food, I wasn't impressed. I would hands down stay here again BUT eat offsite! Also, wasn't that impressed with the night life. Not that I wanted dance club but just felt it was missing night lift...and the Red Lounge is really small! No complaints about the room or bed or pillows.

Great All-Inclusive

Pros: It had great views and beach access, but the stars were the staff.
Cons: It seemed like they need to replace some window seals (we had a lot of rain on the vacation, and they had some interior leaks)
Location: We stayed on property for the entire trip.
I had to unexpectedly shift my vacation from Cabo to Cancun because of weather. Luckily, I was able to book the Paradisus at the last minute at a great deal. The staff was fantastic - they took care of everything. We declined the upgrade to the adults-only side of the property, but even without it, it was great. The staff would make suggestions about food and beverage choices, they have a great tequila selection that's included. The spa was great - booked an 80 minute relaxing massage with Justina (Alfredo the spa representative was great too). We had fantastic bartenders and waiters (Victor was one of them). And they have great chilaquiles.

The stay was great. I will say do not let Travelocity book your flights through American Airlines. Landed back at home yesterday still have not received luggage. AA are not much help with getting this straight

Everything was great. The only thing was that the main atrium, most of the restaurants weren't airconditioned due to outside type seating which just drew in heat to pretty much the whole resort. There were a few restaurants that did have A.C. though. But I can't take the heat, so those that love the warm weather, you'll have a great time!

The beach so dirty ,alot of seweed . Restaurant for dinner, I need to make reservation one day before. Not same another hotel I went last two year , food was very good , you do not need to make reservation , I can go eat anytime I want ( it’s mean all inclusive , any time , any place). The hetel very nice view
