The food at the hotel was the worst I've ever experienced, and I've traveled all over the world. The accommodations were unacceptable; we had to switch rooms three times due to poor conditions. To make matters worse, the shower water was brown. While the hotel staff were polite and the location was great, I was very disappointed with my overall experience.

Avoid at all cost

The customer service is awful the water was coming out yellow from our room and front desk said to let it run-it did not resolve -no hot water for 4/5 days of our stay and the front desk did nothing about it. No apologies or accountability for anything from the staff.

Location and Convenience A+

Great value - best bang for your buck and perfect location to tourist zone and Cancun proper. Needs a remodel at some point and add more activities and really needs a major restaurant boost internally. Nonetheless, it’s a great place to be and family friendly.

Uncomfortable stay in Cancun

I booked 2 rooms to stay in Krystal hotel for 4 nights. I arrived early and hence was made to wait until last moment for the room. Here are the points I want to highlight: 1. Rooms were not available until 2:45PM and suddenly one room was ready exactly at 3PM. 2. Air conditioning was poor in one of the room and had to stay like that. Asked for technician and he told it won't cool further. Max was 72 degrees which is hot as per Cancun weather. 3. I had booked 2 rooms but both were serviced differently. 4. I was charged double for one room and then was refunded for which I had to wait at the counter for 20 minutes. 5. There is no hospitality at the counter, there are a lot of staffs at the counter but they are all useless and don't help you with anything. 6. Everything inside the resort is expensive that outside, please don't buy anything inside. Please do not reserve anything in this resort. Avoid room 1501 at all costs. It's old and aircondition doesn't work.
