Not recommend it! We stayed here from June 17- June 23, 2021. Our bedroom had the most amazing view, but that is it. Nothing special about this hotel, it needs some serious remodeling. I guess you get what you paid for. Room: Moldy ceiling due to faulty air condition leaking. Bathroom was ok, but there was no rug on the floor. Bathroom did not had a hair dryer, we had to ask the front desk every time we need it one and had to return right away after using. I guess in Mexico a hair dryer is a hot commodity who knew?! Room did not had a clothes iron either and hotel management said they did not had any available in the entire hotel? Towels were hard to get, they did not changed them everyday, you had to ask. Our bed only had sheets and no comforter? Cmon these are just basic things every hotel has. Did not had a fridge which we didn’t care for since we were always going out. The only thing that we liked from this room was the view nothing else. Restaurant: We paid for All inclusive and it was buffet style. We stayed there 6 nights but only ate twice since food wasn’t good. Food was plain, no taste and cold. Waste of money! We ended up eating out. Bar and Snack bar: Drinks were watered down and very little or probably no alcohol. They had tap beer only 2 choices but it was watered down as well. You could buy bottled beer from their bar since bottled beer wasn’t included in the All inclusive and it was around 5 bucks. For All inclusive snacks they had nachos, French fries

we are very sorry for your experience at solymar. No words will bring back this days. defenately we will work to improve the service, food, acomodation and maintenance.

The place is unsanitary, broken floor tiles, bars were closed, the buffet consisted of 4 trays of food that was not temperature controlled, mold in juice, very rude staff and manager didn't have time to talk to us. We left in an hour of arriving and went to a different hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Had all inclusive stay yet we were told after we got there that there were exclusions from it. Like we asked for a can of cola and they told us no we would have to pay for it. Same with food they were cooking right in front of us. Rooms were very basic didnt even have a fridge to keep cold drinks in. The buffett was barly tolerable. And the majority of the staff would tell tou they couldnt speak english yet they would talk to certain people in english. Rude

Great beach

Great beach, clean room, nothing fancy. Friendly staff that were very helpful. We were not looking for anything fancy but the food was not to my liking. It was a fun week.
