We had a great time interacting with the entertainment staff and other guest. There is plenty of opportunity for anyone to have an awesome experience. The food choices are pretty good. The food quality is good. The staff has your needs in mind. We will be going back.

Arrival: When we arrived at the resort we were welcomed warmly. We were checked in with ease and immediately talked to Ivan with platinum services who was awesome. He gave us a rundown of everything on the resort, what was included with our stay and also area attractions. Rooms: Once we got to our room we did have a small problem (check your linen) but once we notified the front desk we were immediately moved into a nicer room which was great. The space was very comfortable for two people and the room was a great size with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Vibe: The overall atmosphere at the resort is very relaxing. There are minor renovations being done to the resort but I believe it’s because of new ownership, however it was not loud nor was it interrupting to the beach time. There is ample seating around the pool and on the beach area. If you are looking for things to do there is something going on at the pool almost hourly weather it be Zumba classes, water polo or just fun in General. Adrian on the Event staff was awesome he kept the party going daily! He even remembered our names which I thought was nice. We did take it advantage of the spa and our massages were awesome. Food: The food was OK. There were many choices. The Italian restaurant was the best! The food in general was never very hot unless it came right off a grilling station. Which for me was mehhhhh! But overall I’d recommend!

the hotel location was very good, the hotel itself was kept up fairly well in comparison to other hotel we have stayed at in the area. the people that work there are the best.

we felt like VIP at this hotel.

our room was on the 6th floor overlooking the Laguna and every afternoon we had the pleasure of waiting the most beautiful sunsets. the staff was very attentive, and the food was great. Rafael at deck 74 was our favorite waiter. The food at the Italian place was awesome! really really nice all around. We also purchased an activity from the looks outside the Hotel, called Aqua world. The activity was a day at Isla de moujeres, and it was horrible. They packed us on a boat like sardines, they took us to a beach, that was as big as a swimming pool, because it was flanked by 2 boarding decks, and there was so much weed that you were looking for a place to stand, in the ocean. let along that they let out in that small area 10 different boat loads of people. then they took us to the down town area, and again it was so congested that you constantly had yo excuse yourself just to walk on the street

Great all-inclusive

Pros: The price for all-inclusive and how friendly and accommodating the staff is.
Cons: The pillows. Can’t speak for the whole site but the pillows in our room need to be a bit softer and a bit flatter.
Location: The resort is right on the beach and is pretty close to a high-end fashion mall. A smaller mall is also much closer for your other needs.
This is a great all-inclusive hotel for the family. Atmosphere is wonderful and service is impeccable. Only complaint is the comfort of our pillows. I could’ve asked for new pillows but was too busy having fun. If you’re in Cancun and with the whole family, I highly recommend Panama Jack.

Gran Caribe now Panama Jack

Pros: It was clean and not crowded.
Cons: Add more seats to a quality restaurant and take reservations.
Location: Not far from a small enclave with a straw market, Carlos & Charlies and Senior Frog. Across the street was an excellent sea food & Italian restaurant
Hotel was clean staff were very courteous food was not the best but adequate. The vest restaurant was the Italian but it was hard to get seating as they did not take reservations. Room was clean but the air conditioning was not adequate, could not get the room to a comfortable sleeping level.

Great resort with nice beach.

The hotel has gone through some upgrades - our room was modern, clean but some main areas like the elevator and pool area are aging. It was worth to upgrade our room and we got a nicer balcony with an ocean view. The room we had on our first night smelled and had a very small balcony with minimal view of the lagoon. However for the price it’s a great ocean front hotel with nice amenities. The staff was friendly, the restaurants were all delicious. Especially enjoyed the buffet with its different offerings!

Wonderful Stay

Pros: All of the hotel staff with a special thanks to Maria and Armenia and Liliana in the massage spa and Valentino in the Mexican restaurant.
Cons: We can't think of a thing
Location: Perfect
We have already and will continue to recommend this hotel to anyone bound for Cancun. The facility was beautiful and clean, the rooms were nice and clean and the restaurants we really good. But, the most important thing for us that made our stay excellent was the hotel staff. From the massage we received that was booked by Maria and given to us by Armenia and Liliana, to the waiter Valentino in the Mexican restaurant and the countless number of servers and hosts. We can't thank them enough.
