The staff at the Cyan Cancun Resort is warm and friendly. I had a wonderful time there. My room overlooked the ocean and the view was spectacular. I slept one night with the balcony door open and the curtain drawn. The sea lulled me to sleep that night. My only issue is there seems to have be a drain issue inside my bathroom and sometimes it reeked. The toilet was also a little clogged. Regardless, I would stay here again especially for the view and the warm atmosphere but maybe not in the same room.

The hotel was good, fantastic view, right on beach, room was clean, restaurant had good food. Problem…the jacuzzi tub in our room didn’t work properly; no hot water and water dribbled out of the faucet. I have reached out to the hotel for some type of compensation, haven’t heard back yet.

They wanna charge u for anything u drink out the fridge it should b for free no iron had to go to the reception to ask for one No microwave in the room n no ice machine at all u have to go to the pool bar or the restaurant or no vending machine I had to go across the street to the store the hotel need to b updated my drapes in the room were rip won’t recommend this hotel at all

Great value for money. Beautiful beach and pool area Rooms are clean and decent One restaurant in hotel only - pity that’s the Bar is not undercover as it is in within a wind tunnel and can get quite fresh Other than that great value, great day great beach location

The amenities are very decrepit—beach loungers and chairs falling apart, building facade in bad shape. The room had one accessible outlet. At one point the water stopped working in our room and the key scanner also broke and we couldn’t get it for a long time. Would not recommend staying here.

This is a clean and beautiful resort on a wonderful part of the Cancun beach. This is not an all-inclusive, but the restaurant here was consistently excellent. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance, but be prepared to get a taxi or ride the bus if you want more options. If you are just looking to relax, this is a great place for that. If you are looking for excitement, I would stay closer to downtown.

Black mold in the room in several spots.behijd the mirror,coming out, in the shower, on the silicone around the sink and shower,Room was a ocean veiw. Workers try hard, but facilty in rough shape.our friends had a much nicer room but still shows its wear. Beach area was nice, as its on the strip but the beach loungers where well used. Beach towels rough, pay a bit more for a cleaner spot. I would not stay here again.

The staff was rude the room was in bad shape as well as the hotel The shower leaked the toilet would not flush properly the sink was clogged They came to clean the room by just taking the towels but not replacing them The pool was rusted the lounge chairs were torn and badly worn out The couch in the room was so dirty the floor tiles were cracked very disgusting. The hotel didn’t look at all like the pictures Truly disappointed will not use this hotel again

We had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Cyan Resort & Spa in Cancun. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and we didn’t encounter any problems at all during our stay, which made the experience very relaxing overall. Our room faced the lagoon and had a beautiful view - definitely a highlight. The air conditioning worked great, which is a must in Cancun, and the plumbing was solid with good water pressure and consistent water temperature. ** A couple of things worth noting for future guests: complimentary bottled water is only provided on the first night. After that, you can purchase water from the mini fridge (about $7.40 CAD for two bottles) or buy it elsewhere. Also, alcohol isn’t allowed on hotel grounds unless it’s purchased from the hotel bars. The on-site restaurant was reasonable in terms of food and pricing, but they do close from 12:00–1:00 PM, which is a bit inconvenient during lunchtime. The hotel also offers airport shuttle services for around $50 USD, though we didn’t use this option ourselves. Overall, for the price we paid, this hotel was great value. It’s a comfortable, clean place with excellent staff and a beautiful views. As long as you’re aware of a few policies in advance, it’s an enjoyable place to stay in Cancun.
